I've been trying to ignore most of the announcements, as there are so many, but after watching the vid of this I'm in. one question though...

When with this actually release, i mean i could go up on SSC at any time but when will it be due?

I'm praying for 1st QTR, is that too optomistic?

Can't say I agree... I mean, his head is definitely supposed to be slightly oversized due to wearing a big helmet... but this looks too large to me.
It reminds me of the HT Predator 1 -- which also had an oversized head, but lots of people still wouldn't accept it.
Just my opinion of course.

I get it. Like I said earlier, I know his head is a little on the large size. My beef is that I think the head is a little TOO large (on the figure).
If you think the figure looks to be of the same proportion as fett appears on film, well, thats fine -- but I disagree.
Everything else looks great, I just wish his head was like 10 percent smaller. It's a nitpick, but the way it is right now, I don't think I'd place an order..it just looks goofy to my eye.

To me, this is the kind of opportunity where they could definitely get away with sacrificing a bit of screen accuracy (by reducing the size of the helmet) for the benefit of having it look more aesthetically pleasing. I think we can all agree that (part of why) he's popular is because he had a cool looking helmet, not because his head was large.
If the costume designers could've made his helmet smaller while still making it wearable, I'm sure they would have.
Fett almost always looks better in artwork compared to photos of the actor in costume off-set... Camera angles also help make it look better. He's a bobble head by nature, but the figure exaggerates it when it should really be trying to minimize it, in my opinion.

This is how I feel right now....kid at Christmas sums it up. There's just too much to take in right now, I'm on overload trying to check all these threads and look at all the pics going up. This SDCC is just Epic!

This figure looks flat-out AWESOME! Absolutely amazing....

...and I want to thank Sideshow for saving the PO on one and the Grievous until AFTER SDCC. I know that's irksome to some in here, but considering how this figure has the potential to melt servers during a PPO, I like the idea having it after the show (on a set day at a set time, like the old days, hopefully).

Again, bravo Sideshow....looks fantastic!
