Not sure if its been mentioned but the price is $160 with a 2012 release date.

I'm actually a bit relieved he won't be out till Q2 of 2012. I'd like the get the HT Superman which is out in Q4 of 11 as well as a few other things so it's nice to have a little breathing room.

AWESOME! Love the base in particular.

What I don't like is: "first Boba Fett of many we wanne make".

Any theories on what the exclusive may be? I can only think of the pistol, but then the normal edition would have an obviously empty holster at the back there

The quality better be there. At that price shoddy paint apps should not happen.

I would say the same about $125 figures, but. . .we'll see. Sideshow isn't consistently bad in this department, it's just bad some of the time. With these price increases, I will order more and more frequently from Sideshow directly though, because if the paint apps suck, I'm not keeping them. That strategy paid off with the Spidey Comiquette. I wish this didn't have to be the case, but Sideshow has something to learn from Hot Toys in this department IMO.

They know that they are going to sell tons of these. Much more than Zartan I would think. Charge a bit less and sell much more..especially to the fringe SW collectors.

Sideshow has turned in pretty impressive weathering paint jobs on the Clones; so I'm hoping that Fett is something they will be able to nail in production.

Also relieved about the price and the 2Q12 timeframe. Too many things for 4Q11 already, and springs/summers are always a little slow with figures.

Are we sure Boba Fett comes with this stand? The stand is absolutely incredible. It appears to be a double platform he is standing on too. For $160 this a great piece indeed.

It's only the top part of the stand...not the lower one. And it lights up as well.

He will just come with the part he's directly standing on... he triangular piece is just to display all of the figures.
