Man, the pictures coming in now are great! What a variety...really showcasing this fine looking figure.

It's cool to see the carping has cut way back too...more enjoyment coming through...

I got mine from a local retailer and he's GREAT! Modded his vest already; its EASY! BUT! I had two little stress lines from the bend that I quickly covered up with some Tamiya 'soot' powder, then I sealed the new black scorch marks with dullcoat and he's ready. One problem though, my base's switch is pushed in! I can't use it! So I took pics of it and am writing SS right now. Dang!

Well I jumped the gun and ordered a jetpack from toy anxiety because my 1st jetpack had a broken clip ...I called sideshow right away and emailed them and thought might have to send whole thing back ...yada yada yada sideshow just emailed my replacement is on the way in a week..I will end with 3 jetpacks after fix my 1st broken clip jetpack .....I NEVER DRINK DOSEQUIS Beer, but ALWAYS SHOP at SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES for thier AWESOME Customer Service......

Not to labor the SSC/Medi thing one more time, but jeditemplearchives did a positive review of the SSC fig (yes, they rag on the vest but also oddly, the angle of the rocket pack, which I haven't seen anyone even mention) but also posted this well-lit comparison of the two figs:

Yeah, even though you have to do the mods, I haven't been this happy with a figure in quite some time. In fact, I just ordered a second one. I may pick up a third next month for my brother. He doesn't collect, but the Kenner Boba was his favorite when we were kids.
