If this pic is correct, the end of the gun barrel looks shorter (which is good), but the mid barrel is still wrong.Dunno. Saw this too a couple of days ago but was a bit suspicous having not heard of it here on the boards:

Took advantage of the seasonal weather over the weekend and took some photos of my Boba in the garden. Still love this guy. Hot toys new return of the jedi one looks amazing though!
How about a TT-slim-like body? There are some on eBay. Unfortunately one lower priced source of them is listed on eBay.uk, but they don't ship to the US. Weird. I think Soldier Story S2.5 or similar might also work well, though it would be a little taller than HT slim type.
ZC/ZCWO have also had bodies that are TT-slim-like in the past you might be able to find.
Ok..so after two years almost of this coming out.. what is the best option for a body swap on this?
Hot Toys Boba Fett.
Ok..so after two years almost of this coming out.. what is the best option for a body swap on this? I know TT Slim seemed to be the front runner.. is there a less expensive option that doesn't require a ton of mods? I am okay with a non HT brand.
[/QUOTE]Heres some images and info that should help - I posted it on another thread a few weeks ago, copied it over for you.
Complete list of what I've done to my Sideshow ESB Boba Fett.
Rebodied onto hot toys caucasian narrow shoulder, with padded upper chest, Padding is nothing special! - wrapped in tissue paper and taped) modified the forearms with a knife and used and original boba fett neck. I also had to trim down the original sideshow wrist pegs to fit into the HT arms.
trimmed plastic inside chest armour and bent it a little more rounded(lots of guides on the forums for this)
Opened up all the pockets on the flight suit and cut down or removed the foam to get rid of the bulky square pockets
wrapped flak jacket lots tighter to body for more fitted look
used the end of a scissor blade to 'distress' the end of the cape using a photo of the movie cape as reference
elbows look way better
you can see how natural the figure looks standing
trimmed arms
distressed cape
beast
Hope all that helps!
