Now how about comparing to what was shipping late last year? I seem to recall some of these things like the chest and longer pants, being mentioned at that time. So far it sounds like a few more units are going out to retailers, but this isn't a global re-release with its own product page.

Yes! Australia did get the re release of the SSC TESB Fett...."of that I can assure you"
Local distributor Ikon collectibles, who gets product from SSC did receive a batch of these.

A new ESB version with flying stand and removable rocket is being shown as proto-type and up for pre-order right now. He is $199.99 so not sure what their logic is in terms of competing with Hot Toy's ROTJ version at nearly the same time and price point.

I entered the lifesize Boba Fett giveaway and the email confirmation had a link to buy the "shelf sized version" and it did not look like the HT one so I hit the link and found it.

at $35 cheaper than the HT regular one and $60 cheaper from the HT deluxe, a reissue of the SS one may compete with the HT one - it's weird though that it is buried on the website and can't be found on the Star Wars 1/6 page listing.

Jango had the exact same vest as Boba on the production piece and then this removable missile on this one is the same as the Jango jetpack. They at least could throw in the rocket/jet effects from Jango.

His entire outfit looks like a different material here than the Boba I have now and the pockets don't look so stuffed here either but I wouldn't be surprised if he is very similar to the original. The weathered cape edge looks good though, like some of the mods on here.
