Something I had never noticed before is that his jetpack is actually a different shade of green than the rest of his armor. It's more of an olive color compared to the bluish hue that the rest of the armor has.

Joeyrainbow even got the backward pouch flap correct on the right hip. Very nice comp.

beautiful, may I ask how did you remove the armor and reattach? I need to make that collar gap and bring the chest plates together and bend the ab plate, still haven't gotten around to that yet, some tips would be awesome.

Thanks JC Fett, its the little details I didn't actually remove the armor plates. I swapped the jacket for the V2 one, which is fitted a lot better, and cut away the plastic on the back so the plates can move more freely. thats about it! To make the gap better I've just fitted the jacket to the body a little lower in the front by pulling it down, then closing the back with tape so it stays in position. Maybe it helps also that I've rebodied him with a Trutype?

I'll post some more pics when I get the last bits I need from Toy Anxiety when they restock

BTW, If anyone wants to make their SSC boba a bit taller - Get the hot toys Boba boots. The ankle peg is fitted about 5mm ish higher in the boot. Quick swap - taller boba!

This probably only works with the V2 overalls, as they are longer in the leg. The V1 overalls are too short to go with these boots!

Visually the only difference is a slightly better sculpt, and the paint is slightly darker. Looks great on Boba

EDIT TO ADD - Not sure if the hot toys pegs fit on the sideshow body as mine is HT body.

Still love this figure along with the Proto Fett. Mine is the version 1...I can see some improvements over mine, but still love this figure.

I'm thinking about picking this up since SSC is re-releasing the previous bounty hunters... I never thought I'd be able to put together the bounty hunter lineup from ESB for a good price. If the HT Boba was the ESB version, I'd get that. I know most people wouldn't be able to tell the difference, but I would.

I figured the same thing, but I can't see them releasing another 1/6th Boba just for a few color changes, at least not anytime soon when both versions are still in stock... Maybe an exclusive down the line.

Here was mine a did last year , redyed the suit mixed with a tablespoon of China Blue , added correct wookie braids and some other stuff. Changed the shoulder bells to the ROTJ Medicom ones

From that angle the helmet looks pretty legit. If only the visor was tighter.

Is the newer version of ESB Boba a quality made figure? I've been back and forth on him but hesitate to pull the trigger.

If you don't have the HT version, and don't have any particular preference regarding ESB vs. RoTJ, then I'd say the extra $35 for the HT is worth it.

However, if you're certain that only the ESB version will do, then from what I understand the SSC Fett v2 is a quality figure worth the $200 price point.
