It's probably just for the regular edition...

I doubt it. The Regular version comes with the light-up base. It's the Exclusive base with the logo it doesn't come with, and that's worth maybe 5 bucks, at most. So it will most likely be $174.99 as well, which kinda is lame after they marketed it as $159 at SDCC (and that's with the light-up Bespin stand). How were they off by 10%? Most likely they just figured they could get that much more for it with the other 1:6 prices going the way they are.

I'll order the Regular from a retailer.

I'm happy the EX is "passable", that will let me track it down for a little cheaper. :D

I'm fine with the price bump, not happy, but not pissed. If the factory paint turns out anywhere near Nathan's proto paints it will be worth it.

That's a big "if" on a figure with a paint scheme like Fett's. But they have come pretty close to prototypes with the factory paint on the past couple of clones, so who knows.

who the hell is Kevin Flynn? :lol. Even ppl that don't collect know who Boba is.

Uh, huw, huw, huw, huw!

I wanted a reveal sculpt. :monkey2

*slap* Thatsch won four blashfemhy!

As I understand it, Sideshow's policy on Exclusives is to give hardcore fans who buy directly from them something special, but not always something that is crucial to the piece. I'm not trying to stroke the hand that feeds me, but I personally love the Ex base. I'm probably going to use the light up base for HT Luke or even a future Vader.

Though I still don't really view Boba as a clone, it is kinda cool that he comes with a base that ties him in with the other clone Ex's.

Thank you. Lots of great work went into this by many Sideshow artists. Cut & Sew did a particularly amazing job, I think, and whoever weathered the clothes, great job.

Oh yeah, that is the grate that Luke stands on in the Carbonite chamber.

For once Medicom's was cheaper! :lol!!

Zing!

Then here's to hoping that everything they learned on all those Clones translates to Boba. :duff I'm all for SS taking their time, as they did with Vader, and getting this just right.

Didn't want the damn thing until I saw pics of it...:slap

I figure I've been working on a 1/1 ESB Fett for years, I might as well get the best 1/6th one ever made!

(then I'll sell my Marmit Fett!) :exactly:

Kinda glad the ex is the regular base, i want to use the lit base to display either vader or a stormtrooper. Wonder when we'll get to see the base for Ig-88? I'd like to see how they compare.

Overall a great figure, likeness, etc...wish there were better pics! I'll skip the EX and the price is in line with where these figures are going. Any desirable/sought after/long awaited figure will routinely be $200 or more...Imagine what General Grievous )with the articulated arms and cape, sabers, etc) will go for...unless that was already released?

Looks great as we knew from the shots at SDCC. Will try and get an exclusive Friday but won't be heart broken if I'm unable to snag one.

Hope he ships sooner rather than later...like 1Q 2012.

I have no doubts Fett will be ok. I think over the last year or two SS has really turned a corner in nailing paint app after paint app. Fett will be like the Clones and a home run.
