Ah man, why did someone have to mention the idea of buying the exclusive Fett and giving the Freezing Chamber base to HT Luke. I may have to do that now. :lol

Why buy the Exclusive? Would he not look just as good on any other stand? That Ex painted stand is hardly worth the $15-$20 difference if you get the Regular from a retailer. He'd look just fine on a standard SW stand, or no stand at all.

Also, you know they will use this Carbon Freezing Chamber stand again (likely with TESB Vader).

I swear, some of you should seek positions in Washington D.C. the way you so casually spend money for no value. :lol

Shut up.

lets see, $175 for a ES TBD exclusive that features only a different color base.

i will probably pick up the regular preorder off ebay for a 20% discount. exclusive not worth it in this case.

You tell 'em.

Though I still don't really view Boba as a clone

It's more that clones are Mandolorians, and less that Fett is a clone.

Does anyone else feel the same way about this 10 dollar pack out fee and it pisses you off as well ??

Nope.

And you know what there is no excuse when you have help from hottoys ![/B]!!!:lecture

They aren't getting help from Hot Toys.

End result I'll give medicom rotj best fett 1/6th figure to date.

More like a doll than a figure, but if you say so.

Yeah, true, but I was hoping maybe $199... now that's likely to be too low for something of Grievous' size.

But Fett and Grievous are must-haves for me so I'll pay whatever. Collections begin with figures like this.

Well, even at $199.99 I'd still call that $200. I get what you're saying though something this detailed and the size of Grievous he's gonna cost a bit.

Why buy the Exclusive?

Because I want to. I want the RP as well.

The stand you are showing is not the exclusive. :dunno

I know. That was my point. The Exclusive is just the same usual cheap $5 stand painted with a Fett logo instead of the SW one. I feel absolutely no need to have it, especially when I can get the figure for $15-$20 less elsewhere without it.

I knew $160 was too good to be true. I guess $175 less the 10% discount at AE it will be. I have to agree the extra $ for another stand is just not where I want spend 15 more bucks. Anyway, SS did an outstanding job on this and I can't wait for 2nd quarter and my regular edition.

As far as I know, this is a Sideshow only project.

Won der if there is a wire in the cape? Kinda looks like there might be:

Like someone else mentioned earlier, I would like to know the full compliment of accessories as well (i.e. does he have two bent feet and other hands?)

Yes, there's wire in that cape, he comes with action feet, and I painted a lot of hands for this project, like Clone amount of hands.

For those paying super close attention (probably nobody), Zartan actually used Boba's hands before Boba did, but I painted Zartan's black wiht brown highlights. And I just knew when I painted all of Zartan's hands that I'd be seeing them all again with Fett, 3 full sets each.:thud:

Love the figure, but I do not love those exclusive stands - how many stands do you need for a figure?

Is there something funny about his arms/hands? I feel like there's a foreshortening effect or something going on ...

Impressive job on the paint, once again. :duff

Just saw the pics and Boba looks great! Even though I don't really care for the character (I know, I know "blasphemy" and all that) as I like Jango more so, being a Star Wars collector, how can I NOT have this figure. It looks awesome and will go good with the select few OT characters I have

Unless this is on the armored body, Hot Toys had nothing to do with this figure.

And that's the way it should be! I have nothing against HT or the partnership they have with SS. But I hate reading, especialy on their facebook page or rather mostly the HT facebook page, ppl thinking that HT has the greater part in the latest SS 1/6 figs, namely the star wars ones. So many ppl I see comment on the HT facebok page seem to think that ever since the announcement of the partnership with DX Luke that now every SW figure that comes out is made by HT or mostly by HT :gah:

Some one was really arguing with me about this Boba fig saying that it had to be HT b/c it looked so good. :slap

SS was great before the partnership and will always be great IMO
