A punch up in a brothel? (sorry couldn't resist)
:lol

Yes I realized after seeing the face through the unforgiving eyes of a zoomed in camera that the pink is too dominate. :lol My original intent was to have it look like the blood mixed in with the snow but I am going to rework it better.

I am going to tone it down and redo it. Nothing like a little rubbing alcohol can't fix. :) As usual this forum has members that just love to knock people down with their jokes and comments rather than just giving an honest opinion. Sometimes when you work on something, you get excited to share it and show people and you rush a bit without realizing flaws through the naked eye. I don't know why I still get excited sharing on this site when you get people who just wait to ruin your day... but the criticism is noted and I will work on it some more.

Mommy always said if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. :)

This is why I did not speak up, but now that you are re-working it, I will say that while the snow weathering on the clothes looks good, the face did not. If you're going to have snow on his face it should be in "solid" form, not runny. Maybe try dabbing on some baking powder. Mixed with some PVA glue, it makes excellent clumpy snow. By itself makes great flaky snow. Once its dry, then dab on some red paint for the blood.

Thank you and that's the way to express a criticism in a productive and adult way. I will give that a shot. Appreciate it Natedog.

i love the snow effect joebizz34! looks great! i too tire of the sarcasm we seem to see alot of these days. but keep on going buddy! and sure , who doesnt find ways to improve on anything. painting, sculpting etc.. kudos brother!

Here's my re-worked custom Hoth Luke figures from Sideshow. I color corrected the vests on both and I did a battle damage custom using the exclusive BD head sculpt.

I love how raw this looks. I really like the EX head but the wounds need to look fresher IMO. Great job. :duff

Beautiful photo! Makes waiting for mine even more unbearable, but thanks for posting. Still loving my Hoth Luke, but he really needs his steed!

Hey joe! Like what you were going for but my advice would be to use no white on the face. If he had a beard it would be cool to frost it up but otherwise snow melts pretty much immediately on naked skin, so it looked odd to me to see a fine film of white on Luke. Maybe a sweat/wet look would capture what you're going for better. Just my 2 cents!

That is museum quality right there. Great picture skills.
Yep, that's a nice photo alright. They both look great.
