That looks fantastic!! Great weathering and scarring on Luke. And the Wampa is all kinds of awesome.
Thanks. I used white paint and tamiyas powder snow paint for snow effect.Looks great and I love that you live in Finland and did some Hoth customs - close to the real Hoth.
What did you use for the ice effect on Luke?
I??[emoji769]m not a fan of that sculpt but a paint job might be an improvement. I used the DX sculpt on mine.
I did try the DX hairsculpt on the original sculpt and it is an improvement I think.
I still wanted to be able to use the PERS system so the magnet solution seemed like the best bet. Trimmed out the inside of the hat enough for the forehead to fit inside.
I also glued the strap a bit more together and overlapping so it would be tighter to the chin.
I never liked the snaps on the vest or the pants because it looked like they were always busting to get open so I removed the snaps and added Velcro discs and I am much happier with the way it turned out.
I should also mention that I swapped the body with a DX Luke body to make everything easier on the head swap and body proportions. Also the DX ankle pegs fit nicely into the sideshow boots.
I'm currently in the process of changing up my display, so I decided to switch up poses on some of my older figures. Hopefully HT will upgrade these 2 figures soon!
Looking at the weather outside, it's looking very Hoth-like out there!
Thought it would be a good time to revisit this classic SSC figure...

I still really enjoy this figure. No hurry for an HT redux here.
