has to be quoted for awesomeness :clap

whats the difference with the aldo hands between the normal tt hands anyways? asides the fact that they got black freckles.

That is a great pic but everyone always forgets that he was not wearing his chain during the interrogation scene. I did a lot of research for the 1/3 and 1/1 outfits using resource photos and his chain was attached at the back of his pants and the front pocket of the vest.

Everyones' pics are bloody awesome, great stuff guys. I think I definitely want to change to a BillyB shirt, they do it that much more justice!

These all are looking fantastic...congrats to everyone who got one. I never come to the DC boards anymore (had too much Batman stuff... err...?nevermind) so I missed out on most of whats been going on here. How many people snagged one of these? Also, maybe someone could tell me why the sculpt was done in silicon?

10 were made.

One of those 10 people who bought one is Christopher Nolan.

The sculpt was done in silicon because the silicone gives more of a skin-like texture and look than plastic does.

Guys I was thinking about the upcoming smiling joker Bobby C sculpt and the thought occurred to me, wouldnt it be cool if the sculpt carried a more generic Heath joker smile rather than being exactly the one in the bank robbery scene? That way if some of us prefer we can have the hair and paint done in an interrogation style or even mob scene style depending on what each person wants?

Just a thought - I'm all over this either way

Yeah i am happy either way also, like you i am in anyways :lol

You know what i find funny? That even after 2 and a half years we're still hyped up about the movie and the joker, like we've seen him yesterday for the first time. Impressive, if you think about it.

Who's we're? don't get me wrong, I enjoyed The Dark Knight but I haven't watched it in god knows how long now. I've never found it a film I could watch over and over. I've maybe only watched it 3 - 4 times since I've owned it on DVD.

Strangely enough Batman 89 I have no idea how many times I've watched that. I've probably had it so long recorded on VHS it was burnt out. You know how when you start rewinding it, it goes all messed up when you go to play again. Or the sound is also screwed up as well.

We're were supposed to be the guys here me included, i mean everyone is so pumped up about this figure and character like the movie was just released. I for one, found it a movie you could watch over and over, i mean i've seen it twice in the cinema (a first for me, to see a movie twice on the cinema), then 2 times on dvd, then about 2 times on blu-ray. Just awesome :)

Mostly US:wave
I love the 89 batman also but its had its time. I was like you and watched the heck out of it. I remember before the movie came out, would watch Entertainment Tonight Daily just to see if they would show filmclips of the movie as at the time, you couldnt just go to the internet and find it in youtube.

I still watch it every once and awhile but Dark Knight has definitely surpassed all expectations for the new Batman. And although I was a huge fan of 89 Batman, even then, I never saw Jack Nicholson as the epitomy of Joker.
And although I was hearing all this hype before DK came out about Heath being Joker was mindblowing, I wasnt excited about it all as I was just anxious to see the new batman. I'm a huge Batman fan, got the tattoo to prove it :) So I'm shocked to admit that the Joker truly does steal the show. All the best scenes in the Dark Knight movie are the ones with Joker in it.

Didn't know where else to put this and did not want to dig up an old Joker thread, but here is my progression of the Joker. Only been two years. :lol

Tim - what an epic collage! Shows how far the world of 1/6 has come in such little time

I shudder to think were well be in the next 2 years - but something tells me it'll be mr Bobby C here who'll be at the forefront then as he is now :)
