Am I the only one here who doesn't like those Joker headsculpts? I mean, don't get me wrong guys, I admire Bobby c's work. I wouldn't be able to do something like that. Never in my life. This is great. But I just think that this is not Heath Ledger.
So far what has impressed me the most, is what monkeyrobotmaster has done with his figures. His Joker is just jawdropping. Mindblowing ! He repainted Hot Toys's face, and then added real human hair that he dyed.

Seriously? I think Bobby's Joker IS Heath. But I respect your opinion -- hey, everyone sees things differently. Monkeyrobotmster's looks great, don't get me wrong, I just think Bobby's is in another league. IMHO, of course.

Jk, everyones is entitled to their opinion. Monkey's is definitely impressive, but as a dx mod. As much as I am a HT fan, always thought the sculpt was off. This is the best representation of any 1/6 scale that I've seen. Probably until we see Bobby's Chris Reeves.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. monkeyrobotmaster's does look very nice, but IMHO BobbyC's work is far and away the best. As nice as some reworks of the HT Joker heads are, they just can't be on the same level as BobbyC's due to the sheer amount of effort he puts into his.

I thought Bobby's Joker is fantastic too but I have to admit some of the pics posted here does look kinda off. I think the eye placement is really playing a great role in the likeness department.

im not usually like this, but it's ridiculous that you could think the likeness is off. I mean really, which head are you looking at? Because I will admit that Teddy's and Rory's look a bit off, (Teddy's cause of the odd make up, and Rory's because it's a prototype) but if you look at Snake Eaters or neo's they are perfect.

"Perfect" isn't a shared opinion bro. I haven't been impressed or wowed by a single pic in here so far of any of the BobbyC head sculpts TBH. That might change though (some people still haven't gotten theirs yet/posted pics). But so far.. all I've seen is shoddy to crappy paint work, so-so hair that's not as impressive as people were claiming it would be and a head sculpt that doesn't look like it's worth $1000 IMO.

Actually the biggest shock for me was the pic from neo (I believe) that finally showed an actual comparison of BobbyC's head sculpt next to 3 head sculpts from Imaresqd1 because out of all the Joker heads in there the best one for me was Imaresqd1's laughing head sculpt (weakest for me is Imaresqd1's "Hit Me" head sculpt which I don't like at all).

I know it's blasphemy and incomprehensible to some, but yeah not everyone is gaga over these heads. Especially when it comes to the paint and hair. I know.. because I've talked to a few people who not surprisingly haven't bothered to post in here probably out of fear of being crucified for posting a differing opinion.

Well, I respectfully disagree but to each his own - I think Neos pics in particular are to me the most lifelike pictures of a 1/6 figure that I've ever seen

As a purely casual, detached observer of these works, I think Bobby's 1/6 sculpt looks almost exactly like his immensely impressive 1:1 and 1:3 sculpts, and I haven't heard a single negative opinion about those, so I don't understand how this one could be of a lesser calibur.

I gotta give you credit for being bluntly honest though. No holding punches with you.

What I find kinda odd is that those here who've dropped such a large sum of money on an item of this type could spend so little on a decent camera. I'm sorry but blurry photos don't really portray a sculpt in the best light, even if it's a great one. Neo's photos are good, bit he's just one guy.

Snake's pic is pretty good IMO. Sharp and clear, and I don't think he did any touch ups with photoshop on his, which really shows these masterpieces for what they really is.

And I mean, come on teddys not just saying that these are nice cause he shell out a grand. Look what happened when adam gave him the half done joker sculpt. He spoke his mind and tell it like it is.
