I really think this head looks great. The hair is really what makes it so great. If Hot Toys had done this they would be golden.

But it still doesn't make up the price. Those of you saying the price is irrelevant are nuts, you must take swims in your money everyday. That or you have become too absorbed in the 1/6 world.

And yes, that IS possible.

It's totally a fair analogy imo.

A Toyota Corolla is a great car for the price. It will last a long time and get you from point a to point b. But it will be a different experience than driving an Aston Martin. You could say that the Corolla is "better for the price" because in your opinion no car should be priced as high as the AM. But when money is not a factor non one could argue about which is a better car.

The difference between the DX and Bobby's joker is even more obvious than the car examples. As a mass produced figure, the DX Joker sculpt is one of the best ever made, but Bobby's sculpt is so far beyond that that it is simply self evident to anyone that would look at it.

Price is not a factor in figuring quality. For those with limited funds (like myself) the price to quality ratio is a factor yes, but that is a different subject.

This is a piece of art not a toy , if you question the amount of hours I put into each one , buy my standards I should charge even more.

Sorry that won't happen, as for just the hair making the piece your out of your mind , the HT sculpt is off PERIOD! nice piece but off.
the bottom line is your looking for a reason not to like it simply because you love it.
so keep trying to convince yourself that it is not worth all the countless hours I put into each piece.

I work in computer graphics ( I made an artistic school ). So I work with many others artists (illustrators, designers, sculptors, 3D artists). I follow a lot of artistic boards everyday and I have thousands unbelievable pictures on my computer of amazing artists. After all that, I still think that you're the most impressive artist that I have never meet on the net!
Everytime that I show your work to somebody, I swear god that EVERYBODY think that it's just not possible! Your gallery on your website is just the best portfolio ever!
Please guys! Go Watch this asap if u never saw this!

And yes this headsculpt is not a toys! It is an unbelievable artistic masterpiece!

There's no way I could ever afford this - thanks to the GFC I've been through 3 jobs in the last 2 years and am now again unemployed, I've had to sell off some figures to make rent and not buy others I really wanted, etc etc. Even if I could afford it though it would be tough to convince myself to do it, because everything else that I have managed to hold onto - even the original costume Batman which I consider pretty damn close to perfect - would look extremely sub-par compared to this.

In total awe of your skills, mate!
