That's insane. If that was mine, and I'm just offering up an opinion here, I'd look into getting a little more green into the hair and then working on it with some hair wax to get it into that perfect 'do.

Aside from that minor issue that probably isn't even an issue in person, that's about as close to perfection as you can get in this scale.

I really would have loved to do the 1/6th for HT. But I think it is more Asian employed company.
Does speaking fluent Japanese add some credit?

I am pretty sure Arnie Kim will do an excellent job on the sculpt but after seeing this Joker............. no words, when will we see an update on your Chris Reeve Bobby?

I will have the heads in resin next week, But I will wait to post pics of a finished head

Bobby, how much do you think would get lost in translation between your silicon sculpt and a Hot Toys sculpt, if you were working for them?

Your Joker is, with no exaggeration at all, the best 1/6 sculpt I've ever seen. But if that sculpt was handed over to Hot Toys to be mass produced, what percentage of quality loss do you think could happen (ignoring going from rooted hair to sculpted hair)?

I think to be honest if you look at the pics Lforigno posted you can see the hair is greener looking than Rory's, i maybe wrong but i think it has something to do with Rory picking up a proto

Yeah, I had the same thought.

But still would still take Rory's head over any Adam head :)

Yeah, I had the same thought.

Nah, the hair is much greener in hand, I have to say. The pics come out more subdued. Maybe the lighting setup I used, put warm tungston on and it kills the green hues. That happens in the movie a lot as well if you notice.

Personally I think the proto is better than Lforigno's head (I would, I guess!). But the key here is, they are all handmade, all different. All relevant, I would imagine we will see one or two leaps ahead of the others, thats just part of the natural process.

If I was to compare the silicon Joker hair to the onscreen head, I would say it is spot on.
everything else, yes its the proto. A little rough around the edges, but beautiful none the less.

Absolutely beautiful.

While The Joker would have been the one I'd have wanted the most (I just missed the boat on this :slap:slap:slap), Bale is very intriguing.

Same here man. I don't know if Heath's Joker can ever be beaten for my favorite movie character, but I definitely think a Bale from Bobby is very intriguing as well. I might be thinking David from Lost Boys though because that's the movie my late father and I watched a lot together while growing up and imagine the sentimental value of a David with Bobby's talent? :horror

Edward- I wouldn't see why it would cost any less. You know that these side projects from Bobby doesn't make him a lot of money right? The materials alone cost a lot and considering the amount of time that has to be put into each one of these, he's already being generous with price.

Yeah the green tinge is cool but I love the fact that the hair (especially the messy interrogation one and Lance's) are proper dark brown with the tinge of green. How it should be!

Hi Guys, I really took a major interest in these, what I have planned for sure is
Jack N Joker -shinning
Christian Bale
Lost boys David
Reeve 2 facial expressions
Zod None Ursa
maybe a downey for the IM pieces.
probably many more, just choosing characters that may have bodies Out there.
I really have enjoyed this, But I still think i can improve another 30-40%
I have some custom tools being machined now that will help me.

Also I think your correct mass produced would not happen.
On another Note I will be doing the Life size Reeve for HCG for sure , I really would have loved to do the 1/6th for HT. But I think it is more Asian employed company.

keep a eye out guys , I hope to have some things and the works to show and give out some gifts to everyone in the near future (if all goes well)
Thanks Guys
