Thanks very much guys, Devil hit it exact, when I tilt it back it is to show the eyes, but in proper place it has the look from the mob scene, in which most of the time he had that I could give a crap less look.
but I may make some different styles, I want to get threw this one first.
also paint is very important because you can make him look angry , but we will see how it goes.
just happy to get to this point so far.
more pics of the silicon head coming soon, maybe this week .
Thanks Guys

Truly amazing so far, BobbyC.

Your works of art are so lifelike, it's scary. Truly gifted sculptor. Can't wait for more glimpses of your work.

I just showed my wife a pic of the 1/3 Joker bust and she went on about how amazing it is for like 5 minutes, she couldn't stop staring at it. That is quite the compliment considering I show her sculpts I think are amazing all the time and I never get a reaction out of her :lol

Yeah Heah often did that sleepy-eyed lethargic look, I love that the sculpt can capture that aswell as being regular looking. It's all in the lighting

I've noticed this too and specifically it's how the black around the eyes gets painted IMO. Same sculpt, same expression same everything but if you paint the black around the eyes differently you end up with two different expressions/looks.

Sorry cant allow this amazing thread to stay on page 2 for too long :lol

excited for the next run of pics Bobby :panic:

Cheers :)

Just received the materials I think i will be casting him tonight , still on schedule for next week.

Very nice of Bobby to be doing this for the 1/6th collectors. I'm holding out for the 1/3 myself, and the HCG 1:1 bust.

:yess:

I don't visit the boards for a week and then I find this thread (and 16 pages to read)? Awesome work yet again... I'll be following this thread just like the 1/3 Joker thread...

I definitely want one of these as an upgrade. You've nailed the Heath Ledger look in all the scales you've done. :clap

I think it's the angle. Pics like this (which I'm sure you're referring to) have the head tilted slightly back:

And I agree, in those pics he does look bored/sleepy. :lol

But these pics have the head in the correct position (where the base is flat) and you can see the difference:

Looks pissed off and sneaky! So I think it's the angle.
