Curious that the Clone Hologram name is out of the new series as that Obi-Wan features a ROTS look, and this one is more reflective of CW Volume 1 from Cartoon Network, where the Clone Commander he communicated with via hologram had no name.

Even though I am expecting to take a pretty good wallet hit for this figure, I will be very surprised if he comes in at $150 like the Medicom Clone. I could be wrong, but I don't think Sideshow will charge that much.

I doubt he'll cost that much. If only to "compete" with medi, if you can really call it that, I'm sure he'll be much cheaper. Sideshow has really outdone themselves.

This figure is an easy pass for me, but only because I want characters from the movies, not EU.

None of this matters however because

1) Great sculpt! ...and

2) ARMOUR!!!!

$99 would be ideal,and people would have no problems buying it at that price.But as you said anything over that would be a "surprize" indeed.

If Gandalf is $90, there is no way that this is $100 or under.

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. And although I hope I'm wrong, I think the saber and the ARC holo are pretty much all he's coming with. Since the armor and body will already drive up the cost.

Anyone else think Durge's helmet/head would've been a better exclu. item? The holos don't do much for me.

Its hard to say (sorry to discuss price Alice), but with Gandalf all that work is really one-off. Can't reuse any of it really, but with this figure all they need to do is pop on the helmet (you know thats already done), release a clean version and repaint him a bit in the yellow, green, red and blue and you've got 5 more figures.

Not to mention a bit more work and you've got ARC Troopers. I'm hoping the reuseability of armor can keep costs down a bit.
