Damn, its awesome to see a thread with so much excitement!!

Its rare these days, but a welcome change for sure.

Amazing looking figure that's for sure! Still not HT's quality though, one figure does not make you king of the 1/6th world, sorry! And for the Medicom bashers, do you think they honestly care??? They make so many figures and market them to Japan and Asian markets, just because SS is kind enough to bring some over for us you guys think we are their main focus, they could care less about the US market!

I did know to anticipate clone armor on this guy, but I just didn't expect to see it all so soon.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It really is a great feeling when the collaboration pays off this well. It is not easily "choreographed" by Sideshow. Takes a lot of work and foresight.

I would glady take on any other Kenobi's that get thrown out to me. Ewan was great and Guinness is sensational. This guy brings the feeling of Star Wars anywhere he goes. ;)

Trev

Which is why he's my favorite character. Trev, you've delivered the perfect AOTC Obi-Wan here, I can't imagine better so I fully intend to use this head on a, hopefully, future AOTC figure, and perhaps SSC will just do the same. I hope they toss TPM at you too, it's the only Obi-Wan yet to be sculpted, that we know of, in 1/6 for them.

Guys keep in mind the lil blue trooper is Captain Rex to tie into the new Clone Wars series. That is why we are getting General Obi Wan, to tie into the series. Like I said earlier, this was all timed pretty well.

Well, I'm no fan of this version of Obi Wan, so it's an easy pass for me. Also, I don't really get the excitement over the sculpt, it doesn't look like Ewan to me at all (sorry Trev!).

Abake make Trev ANGRY.....TREV SMASH *CRUNCH* *SLAM* *BOOM*

:lol :lol :lol
no offense taken, man! The one thing that sucks with sculpting likenesses is the very recognition of them is so subjective. So you just can't hit the nail on the head for everyone..ever. I do like the BeeGees comment from someone earlier...I laughed out loud at that!

thanks
Trev

I don't think the PPO on Friday will be too bad.
There will be some whiny little buggers out there saying the "eyes" look wrong or some stuff like that.:rotfl
:chew

Let me at least get drunk first:lol

If you must. :lol

No kidding. I wish we could all just start enjoying our collecting more.

Price wise I'm thinking no less than $90 but probably more like $100.

EEEEEEK!!!!

The end of the world is near!!!

I AGREE WITH THE JOSH:google

*King faints*

I'm gonna hold you to that, but if you are wrong... there will be hell to pay!

I'm just thinking that most of his outfit and body can be spread across several figures, so that should help keep the cost down some as someone has already mentioned... by the way, does Hell accept Visa?
