12" Clone Wars Obi-Wan in CLONE ARMOR!

Anyone else think Durge's helmet/head would've been a better exclu. item? The holos don't do much for me.

That would be the kind of exclusive item that would knock my socks off!!!! Sideshow has done in before with the Jango helmet, Mynock (still the best exclusive) and the like....little blue figurines are kinda lame. That said, I am not complaining on this one!!!!

Kinda late to the party...

Well, I'm no fan of this version of Obi Wan, so it's an easy pass for me. Also, I don't really get the excitement over the sculpt, it doesn't look like Ewan to me at all (sorry Trev!).

On the very bright side, though, the armour looks fantastic! I like that they went with a harder plastic (detail looks great), and the (slight) liberties they took with the design of the armour itself coupled with the new body bodes very well for poseability! I think it's fantastic that SST has designed a completely new body for the armour wearing characters, that is a great solution to help with articulation and bulk. Simply brilliant move!

Looking forward to Stormies and Vader now.

I did know to anticipate clone armor on this guy, but I just didn't expect to see it all so soon.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It really is a great feeling when the collaboration pays off this well. It is not easily "choreographed" by Sideshow. Takes a lot of work and foresight.

I would glady take on any other Kenobi's that get thrown out to me. Ewan was great and Guinness is sensational. This guy brings the feeling of Star Wars anywhere he goes.

Its hard to say (sorry to discuss price Alice), but with Gandalf all that work is really one-off. Can't reuse any of it really, but with this figure all they need to do is pop on the helmet (you know thats already done), release a clean version and repaint him a bit in the yellow, green, red and blue and you've got 5 more figures.

Not to mention a bit more work and you've got ARC Troopers. I'm hoping the reuseability of armor can keep costs down a bit.

The armor, besides the helmet, is the same for ROTS also.


I hope we see a pic of the figure without the robes. And the new body!

How long ago did you sculpt this version?!? If I remember, you were also surprised at seeing ANH Luke when it hit?
