12" Clone Wars Obi-Wan in CLONE ARMOR!

Looks good. Kinda surprised you didn't tone down the eyeliner as thats the thing I think is most in need of fixing.

I was wondering if anybody's customized one of these into the Clone Wars cartoon version? I was thinking about using Vader's shoulder pads and painting them white. What else would I need?

I don't think the Vader parts would be the right size. Just use the Clone Wars Anakin's parts (when he's released).

Sniper33, so how did you remove the chest armor? Can it be done with out damage?

Took apart my Rex, and once I got all the clothing off I realized how floppy the body was. The legs were decent, but the arms were pretty bad. I was unable to get the screw covers off so I just used some super glue to help tighten it up, as well as eletctical tape (what I normally use to help tighten joints).

Sniper33, so how did you remove the chest armor? Can it be done with out damage?

Run a razor blade along the seams on the sides of the armor to loosen up the glue. It's time consuming but once you get it to a point where the glue gives way, you can pull the chest piece in half and off the figure.

I'd just pick up one of the Stormtrooper bodies from TA. They'll be tighter than his was being newer and you already know they'll fit.

I'm kicking myself for not buying another one of these when they were so cheap from Hastings via Amazon, because I want to try making a Clone Wars movie Obi-wan to go with the Anakin. Of course, Sideshow might just come out with one...

Thanks to Katkru for the cool head sculpts and helmets!

1) Now Obi has a hat (should have been included, grumble grumble...)

2) My Episode 3 Medi Clone can join him on patrol as an Ep2 trooper.

3) When I get my 2 SS Ep2 clones, they can have heads.

4) My two regular Stormies can have heads too! (I like removable helmets - please take note SS!)

Now I just need to get my brushes out and start painting!!!!
