The sculpt looks good...but I think it lost some of the "sneer" of the first head. This one looks manic, but I think the other sculpt had more madness. I think it comes from the eyes, they seem a little too open and surprised...

Can't wait to see the costume!

Kelly

Have to agree

Let's compare:

I like the new wrinkled forehead, but I do see where the "mean" eyes are no longer. His cheek bones seem more defined in the first sculpt as well, which I like, where his head seems to have 'stretched' in the second -- his jaw is very low if you look at the neck on both. Perhaps the open mouth is just to far open now?

I think you pretty much had it in the first sculpt. I think the new sculpt looks too exaggerated.

Also Jon, have you considered removing the mask and making that out of real material instead?

Thanks, guys. I will look into it and see what changes fits it best. As for mask, I would still prefer to sculpt it on.

Best Regards,
Jon

Jon,
I agree with you that the mask HAS to be sculpted on. I am afraid that a eyemask in 1:6 scale would not look right at all.

U r right, kelly. As for the madness look, I think it's the eyes that caused the lost of Jim Carrey's madness! I will make adjustments on the eyes again. :D

Best Regards,
Jon

For some reason I really see the likeness of Jim Carrey in the first version, but not so much in the second.

Much MUCH better! I think you have captured the likeness...especially after this bad boy is painted and placed on top of a body wearing a lime-green jumpsuit covered with ? marks. This is gonna be one AWESOME figure when you are done.

Thanks, guys! I am glad that u all like it and it's worth all the time making it perfect. I will be moulding and casting it soon. Interested guys can PM me for placing order. I will be moving on to the Riddler wand/cane after this. Costume will be the last to go. :D

Best Regards,
Jon

Producing high quality figure is always an achievement for me. I am not sure how much will be the quote for the complete figure yet coz I have not go into the making of the costume yet. I will post the quote once all are completed. Cheerz... :D

Best Regards,
Jon

Everytime I see that you have updated this page, I get all psyched up that you will have the whole figure done! Can't wait to see this figure completed!

Very sorry, guys. I am very busy with relocation of my workshop and that's why I was MIA for quite some time. Ok, here are pics of Jim Carrey Riddler Head after cast in resin and also painted. The riddler cane is also completed and cast in resin but not painted yet. I will be working on the riddler costume artwork soon then tailor the complete suit. Hopefully, I can complete the whole figure by March. Btw, this Jim Carrey Riddler Head is also for ready sale, interested guys can PM me to place order either for plain head or painted head. Cheerz... :D
