i have to disagree...

Well you are right. They are movie accurate except for being brown. So they need to be green. :lol

But to be honest I relly do not care about the shoe issue in any way. This one is simply the best Riddler custom I have ever seen so there is no need to critize it in any way. Jon really nailed the costume, provided a great headsculpt and cane so there is absolutly no problem for me. I would even buy it if it comes with blue socks. :lol

I have to agree here as well. Show me another Riddler custom done as well as this one. Heck, if this figure has SO many problems, it should be very easy to make a better and more accurate Carrey Riddler and I look forward to seeing it. Make sure it has the green tights screen printed with question marks and the screen accurate cane.

And if the shoes bother you that much-REMOVE THEM AND REPLACE THEM. After all, it's a figure, not a statue! I already paid for mine and can't wait for it to arrive!

My dear Kelly, thank u very much for your hardcore support!!! No worries, your riddler figure will not come with blue socks, haha... I will do my best for all my supporters in SSF!!! Cheerz...:D

Best Regards,
Jon

im sorry guys but you're missing the point... The green you see in the shoes is actually apart of his suit! you see the accurate suit actually covers the feet followed by a pair of black loafers. so no replacing the shoes yourself wouldn't help the cause. whatever though I thought custom workz here was taking criticism here to improve his work. I guess thats hard when you have kinggrayskull here going ga ga over the figure and being defensive.

Carreys' other Riddler costume. note the green and black shoes, the green is not part of the leotard.

another pic of the shoes with the leotard costume
All you have to do is repaint the shoes, no need to get all angry about it people.

Fantastic job by the way Jon. :bow

Hi, Morbo. Thank u very much for your info to clarify this matter. I believe anyone in SSF can paint such simple colour on any shoes. So let's carry on from here and I would like to know which other batman characters u guys would like to be made next??? :D

Best Regards,
Jon

Im not going ga ga. I simply like it as it is. Dont forget it is handmade. :)
And I really do not care for the shoes.

Looking at the last pic the only thing one could critisize is that the costume does seem to be not as tight as the original. Thpugh you have to find a good compromise betwenn making it tight and seeing all the joints throug the costume which would definitly be the case when you sew it as tight as the original is... Further it would be great to see a jacket and hat one day too. :monkey5

Actually, I created a Tommy Lee Jones Two-Face figure as a companion piece for the Jim Carrey Riddler (I will post pictures of the two together when Riddler arrives.) Rather than try to tailor a two-toned suit from scratch, I took the suit that came with the DC Direct 13" Two-Face and hemmed it to make it fit a 12" figure. While the suit is a LITTLE more purplish than red, it is not very noticeable once the tiger stripes were handpainted on the suit. I can't wait to see how it looks next to the Riddler.

Actually, I thought of Tommy Lee Jones 2 Face also! The suit is real challenge but most of the people said they do not have much interest in it compare to TDK 2 Face. I still think that I might wanna try it later. I would like to see Kelly's Tommy Lee Jones 2 Face custom very much!!! So pls dun forget to post pics of it with riddler later. Cheerz...:D

Best Regards,
Jon

that's really good Batman_taiwan :rock the head is fantactic, did you sculpt that yourself?

That Two-Face is quite impressive. Tough to get those patterns right, but you did.

As much as I don't like Batman Forever, I would like the Carrey Riddler and Tommy Two-Face for some reason. Just the colors alone make them fun.

Jon -- great job. Do consider making that jacket and hat (like the pic of the costume further up) as I think that would really make this figure amazing! The jacket and hat would give him a more complete look.

WOW! That's a great 2 face! Huang(batman_taiwan), when did u start to make your own custom figures??? As for the hat and jacket really gonna be another challenge. I have a handful of orders at the moment so I will get back to these once all are cleared. Cheerz...:D

Best Regards,
Jon
