Could Sideshow really sell four versions of "Adventure Gear" Indy? We're talking at minimum 3000 each as we learned at Spook that that's the magic number for turning a profit. The distressed Indy from TOD could easily be done with this one (several freaks already have that in mind anyway) and you'd really be getting less with a ripped shirt, no jacket etc. Add a tie to the current Indy and you've got TLC. Now I know there are minor differences in the outfit (so no need to go over that again - please! :p) etc, but the basic look would be there. The only other versions I can see as remotely profitable, would be Shanghai Indy from TOD (Casablanca getup), possibly German Indy from ROTLA, and maybe a Professor Jones, all of which would have shorter runs as domestic exclusives, and the older Indy from KOTCS as a major release.

thenammagazine has spoken, and it sounds right on the money to me! :whip

...still, I may be in the minority, but I'd buy all 4 incarnations of Adventure Indy...

Bummer the regulars won't go out until next week. I forgot about the PPO for Indy and remembered the next day. Should've wait listed it. Oh well, waited this long, another week won't kill me:monkey2

Hi ...long time lurker, First time poster......I have the regular on order through a third party over here in the UK....anyone have any idea how long it usually takes for SSC to start exporting the regulars to their overseas buyers?....I realy can't wait for this.... (I can't afford it, but thats neither here nor there...)

Play.com have a date of 21/11/08, I'm guessing that's a little optimistic. Forbidden Planet don't give a date but I think you'd be lucky to see this before Christmas unless your third party imports on the grey market.:whip

It's Play mine's on order from, But I may go with FP if it looks like they'll be any quicker....going by previous releases...from seeing the first pics on here to actually having the figure in hand it was about one and a half to two months for Tatooine Han......awhile to go yet....still its time to save up......

I would as well so long as the sculpts were new. Like a beat-up Indy for TOD with hat lower to say eye level, and maybe a confused or angry look for TLC as if he'd just been called "Junior" by Henry Sr.

Mine still says "Processing" :(

Same here, no preauth either. Today's deadline for mine to go out and get to me before the holiday. Not the end of the world, but having a fair ammount of time off and no obiligations, I was hoping to have him to do my creative work while time permitted rather than trying to work him in after like I'll probably have to do now.
