Nice rundown kuzeh. If the majority of the Proms are that loose then it's gonna be a swing and a big miss for SS and their new body. Buying a SS figure is gonna be really expensive if we have to upgrade to a TT everytime.
I've got a replacement shirt and jacket already on the way for my Indy.
Yeah, no kidding...it's pretty bad specially on the neck and legs, they move all over the place...and even though I usually just have the figures on my shelf, I pose them every now and then...I hope they fix this on upcoming Prometheus figures...
That sounds pretty bad. What the f@#$ is going on? First Lara and now this?
I thought SS had a good reason to jack their prices up....
Really? Lara has the same joint issues? wow...
Just a note Kuz the hat isn't supposed to fit on the second head.
It would've been nice though... but I know it's hard to accomplish on this scale... so IMO, it's a bad thing...
I haven't seen anything in pics to show me that it will be bad at all. The outfit and head stuff. The body will have to wait but unless it can't hold a pose at all then I'll leave it.
The figure overall looks great, but the shoulders just aren't there, and the joints suck big time, believe me...
The sculpts are aces. I don't like the look of the jacket that much yet but once in hand that may change. The shirt looks a little cheap and thin to me so if anything I'm gonna change that out.
The jacket tailoring is great, and the lining looks nice, but the "leather" material looks like plastic, it won't matter if you're not familiar with other existing jackets, though. it looks good, but it could've been much better.
Sounds like I may temporarily dismantle my Ep2 Kenobi kitbash to give the TT for Indy. I actually bought some boots for my TT off ebay today preparing for this, I've been following auctions for Indy-esque boots since the first reports came in of body issues.
If by the third Pro bodied figure these issues are still around, I'll probably base my decision to get figures based on my willingness to spend more for an alternate body, sucks to even think of that as a possibility.
Well, I don't pose them that much, some of the joints are as loose as the ones in the hobbits, but if it stays in the one position it's OK. I think the biggest problem is visually, because the shoulders suck, and since SS usually makes Headsculpts larger, it's more noticeable... THAT in my opinion is the biggest issue, maybe we can bulk it up a bit with shoulder pads?
