Just checked online, the relic hunter looks nice although a little thick on the material. I am just worried about the SS's jacket...looks like some of my gear that when creased will eventually create a weak spot and eventually a hole.

I am trying to make a real mini leather whip for indy.

Sounds like I may temporarily dismantle my Ep2 Kenobi kitbash to give the TT for Indy. I actually bought some boots for my TT off ebay today preparing for this, I've been following auctions for Indy-esque boots since the first reports came in of body issues.

If by the third Pro bodied figure these issues are still around, I'll probably base my decision to get figures based on my willingness to spend more for an alternate body, sucks to even think of that as a possibility.

So the Prom's feet/boots just won't work on a TT, huh?

Assumption is no. Some of the early in hand pics, people noticed there were different boots on the figure and it was because the owner swapped to a TT and couldn't put the boots from SSC on it, either fit or maybe couldn't get the connector out of the boot if they're like Hot Toys where the leg connects to the shoe with no foot inside. Indy-style boots aren't abundant so much on eBay so I just wanted to be sure to score some just to cover myself, if somehow I can body swap and still use SSC shoes, great.

I may look for some myself then. I like SS's boots though. Maybe I can mod the TT if I decide to swap.

Nice rundown kuzeh. If the majority of the Proms are that loose then it's gonna be a swing and a big miss for SS and their new body. Buying a SS figure is gonna be really expensive if we have to upgrade to a TT everytime.

I've got a replacement shirt and jacket already on the way for my Indy.

Yeah, no kidding...it's pretty bad specially on the neck and legs, they move all over the place...and even though I usually just have the figures on my shelf, I pose them every now and then...I hope they fix this on upcoming Prometheus figures...

That sounds pretty bad. What the f@#$ is going on? First Lara and now this?

I thought SS had a good reason to jack their prices up....:banghead
Really? Lara has the same joint issues? wow...

Just a note Kuz the hat isn't supposed to fit on the second head.
It would've been nice though... but I know it's hard to accomplish on this scale... so IMO, it's a bad thing... :D

I haven't seen anything in pics to show me that it will be bad at all. The outfit and head stuff. The body will have to wait but unless it can't hold a pose at all then I'll leave it.
The figure overall looks great, but the shoulders just aren't there, and the joints suck big time, believe me...

The sculpts are aces. I don't like the look of the jacket that much yet but once in hand that may change. The shirt looks a little cheap and thin to me so if anything I'm gonna change that out.
The jacket tailoring is great, and the lining looks nice, but the "leather" material looks like plastic, it won't matter if you're not familiar with other existing jackets, though. it looks good, but it could've been much better.

Well, I don't pose them that much, some of the joints are as loose as the ones in the hobbits, but if it stays in the one position it's OK. I think the biggest problem is visually, because the shoulders suck, and since SS usually makes Headsculpts larger, it's more noticeable... THAT in my opinion is the biggest issue, maybe we can bulk it up a bit with shoulder pads?

That's where it'll suck for me if it's too loose. I pose my figures a lot for my artwork, if Indy can't hold up to my needs I'll swap the Pro.

I actually like the way the figure looks with everything on the Pro more than the TT swap, but I'll sacrifice some aesthetic for poseability if need be. Indy is a must be posable for me.

That's f@#$ing sad, isn't it?

At $50 a pop it's not too bad. At $85-$90 + $30 for the TT you're essentially paying for a top-o'-the-line HT product that isn't quite top-o'-the-line. :banghead

For Lara: :banghead

Vader: :banghead

Snake Eyes: :banghead

Well, the body does have a great range of poseability, and it's quite the improvement on that department, I've been "playing" around with it a bit, and it does accomplish a good range of movement and poses.
But, every time you change the pose, the head tends to tilt forward, and the legs are pretty loose, I don't know how else to describe it...

I just noticed one other thing, I don't know if it's just mine
but for some stupid reason, it comes with 2 bare left-hand fists and one right-hand fist,
shouldn't if have one left relaxed hand at least?

This is really sad to hear that people are not happy with the Pro. Why put so much into a new body if you are just going to release something that's all loose and weak.

So far it seems most have reported this as a problem, which would be 0 for 3 on the new bodies having tight joints. I really hope Sideshow addresses this with future releases.

Did Sideshow enlarge the head during production? The head in the prototype pics looks fine. But with the in-hand pics, the head does look oversized compared to the body.

It looks as a standard SS head, so a bit big, but I think the problem, as I mentioned above is that the Prometheus lacks a good shoulder build...
