Cool pic!

Then the saber duel style of Mace and Kit Fisto v.s. Palpatine scene?

That would be great Roy, remember to include Ani in there :D

but I would love to see some more Arena battle poses with Kit and Mace too.

Well, we did get one shot of Mace and Kit in the arena and it looks great! Thanks Darth Rage!

Thanks, happy to oblige, its a lot of fun doing this actually. After countless google searches on how to do the lightsabers in photoshop I think I've cobbled together a technique that works.

I bought a new camera last week too, so once I get Mace and Obi Wan I'm gonna have some real fun.

Thanks again for all the compliments everyone. :D :D :D :D

Yes! Totally agree! Pose it, photo it, edit it, post it and chat with "freaks"...worth more then the money we spent!

Can't wait the pics with your camera!

Awesome, thanks Roy and Darth Rage for doing these, no-one has really worked them up yet and it is an important moment for these Jedi!

Btw, Roy that is an absolutely beautiful shot of Mace bro. :D

My pleasure!

This shot might not reflect the true tone of color of the actual product but can get a closer look at the detail of the fabric on inner tunic and outter tunic.

Please share your technique. Your LS looks a little better then my attempt. This was the first time I've tried to do a lightsaber in photoshop, so the more tips the better :)

This is how I did the saber in Photoshop Elements 4.0. Keep in mind that this is just a basic guide...I always futz around with the numbers depending on the picture.

1) Use polygonal lasso tool to select the SSC saber blade
2) Expand by 10
3) Feather by 6-7
4) New fill layer...select your shade of purple

That's your colored blade...now de-select that layer so you're looking at the original SSC blade again.

1) Same deal with the polygonal lasso tool.
2) Feather by 1
3) New fill layer...select pure white

Now make sure the white blade is on top of the purple blade by moving layers if necessary. Set the purple blade to an opacity of 75-80%.

You should have a blade like mine then. Hope that helps!!! :D

EDIT: Yeah, I just realized it look like you were asking Darth Rage for his technique, so just consider this me butting my two cents in!!! :lol
