Yeah, the new backgrounds on these are nice. More natural looking as opposed the stark backgrounds from before! Good job Sideshow!!!

Yeah, the backgrounds are nice, but somebody needs to clue 'em in on getting those robes looking better, either through a little wet-finger ironing or a whole water treatment...
The way the robes look now is like he just woke up and slapped on whatever was on the floor...and we all know Mr. Jackson er, Windu has more class than that...

They're ok images, but as far as trying to see what the product is like, the plain background they use as standard works better, especially with the Jedi, the earth tones outfits don't stand out so well against an earth tone back drop.

In anticipation of Palpatine's imminent arrival and the thought of posing him dueling with the great Jedi Master Mace Windu, I pulled him out and snapped a new shot...

Man, I wish Sideshow would complete that "arrest" posse with Saesee Tinn and Agen Kolar...what an awesome display That would be, eh?

yes it would be awesome!!! in fact, i've assembled my own with jedi luke, kitt, mace, and plo koon (this is the reimagined arrest scene, lol)

~~and that image is incredible. mace is my favorite jedi from the prequels.

With Palpatine here in the game and my search for Mace in full swing, I thought it would be cool for us to remember what a shockingly good figure this is. I had one but later had to sell him, and now I'm looking again. I can't wait to find one, the Palpatine-Windu duel is one of my favorites in the whole Saga. What a great figure!

Indeed, this is a great figure. One of my favorites. I was lucky enough last week to upgrade my regular edition to exclusive through a purchase of an Exclusive box and Jango helmet from the onesixthwarriors forum. I'm now the proud owner of the Exclusive version which I had missed out on! This figure has, IMHO, one of the best outfits of this line.

Good luck in your search Captain. Have you tried Evilbay? I have seen some go for less than $40.

Mace is a cool figure and he has the best fitting outfit of any of the Jedis so far.

And he just looks great displayed with palpy
