Geez, is someone a little uptight this morning? Ever think it could be a typo?

I'd suggest less coffee but that might be misconstrued as an attack on American ideals... even if my day begins every day with an extra large double double from Tim's.

I live in Seattle - so I think it would be abnormal of me to start my day with anything less than a non-fat latte with 4 shots. :lol

You must have to take out a loan for one of those... An extra large double-double from Tim's is just $2.15... What would one of those bad boys set you back (Starbucks I'm assuming), $5-6?

It's not morning it's the middle of the got damn day. Grrrrr damn I'm angry!

Just tryin to lighten the mood.

Hmmmm, yes... because that was a completely rational piece of evidence to back up a point just like csi's post and not at all an intent at humour... Might I suggest you cut back on your daily coffee intake by a wee bit? Just a thought.

The picture posted in response to csi's comment on the difference between US and Canadian police... which was meant as humourous as well?

Not everything is an attack--

if it makes you feel any better I got your lowbrow humor :1-1:

Double-double..geewww..i take mine half sugar and one milk, i enjoy the actual taste of coffee. XD

If, i'm out buying coffee usually first choice for the cheaper types would be McDonalds coffee because it has a very nice aroma to it, Tim Hortons sure i will have it but, it is sometimes hard to get a good cup of coffee from there, its not the best tasting and sometimes quite a weak brew,Country Style is another place i would choose over Tim Hortons. Starbucks, Second Cup and Timothy's are great places to get premium coffee.

Truthfully...I hate Starbucks! :lol I go to a local coffee shop in my neighborhood. It costs $4.50 for my usual. Sometimes though I will get an Americano with 4 shots and room for cream....that's under $3. :yess:

Somehow I knew that you would. :lol

Tim Horton's is hit and miss... I agree.

Fight the power!! (power being the Man... the Man being Starbucks)

A typo? I didn't think he would miss the 6 inches of blank box that he just quoted. :dunno

You're argument makes no sense...but continue on. I love it when trolls make themselves look foolish for all to see. :duff

You do know what the secret of good comedy is don't you?

Timing. :stick

Maybe look up trolling?

My original response was that I couldn't see what was in that blank box. You said it was all type, I get it, my error, part of the joke was that it was blank. he reposts and says he doesn't see it. You guys continue trying to bait me.

I love how a mod tells me to move on, but you two continually throw it in my face?

Seriously? grow up.

Noooo! Another blank or is it black box! :panic:

And I agree...timing is everything. Which is why I will never be a comedian...my timing is always hours off. :lol

Back on track. Who's seen the movie today and did anyone notice any heightened nerves in the audience?

I'm also wondering, have any theatres maybe paused for a moment of silence prior to the film starting to honour the victims?

I'll be honest, I saw the movie yesterday and at one point felt a twinge of my nerves during the first gun battle wondering if some psycho copy cat would try something, but got to into the movie to really worry about it much after that.

No pause of remembrance or anything beforehand though? I'm wondering if theatres are doing that or if they're trying to totally not bring attention to it so their audience/customers can just focus on the positive movie experience.

I would imagine they don't want to bring attention to it. What they should do is stop the movies after the previews, have a moment of silence, and then take up a collection for the victims. A movie theater back home used to do something similar to collect money for the Will Rodgers foundation. Although I always thought it was odd that after charging you $20 for the movie and another $30 for food they had the nerve to ask you to donate more :dunno

It would be tricky as people go to the movies for escapism-- It's just so horrific. Hard to fathom.
