Not bad, but Wor-Gar's looks better.

I'll wait for SS's.

but it is amusing watching ebay bidding wars. People always overpay what something is worth.

I think war-gar's looked much like this one until he trimmed it up a bit more and unless I am mistaken he used hair spray or somthing to give him a more "Matted" hair look.

Thanks Evilface. I did take some time to try and get it as close to Chewbacca as possible. He's actually somewhere between ANH and ESB. But the eBay one is the same basic figure by the same guy.

Bingo. I did do a little trimming, here and there, feet and hands, etc. Just tried to get the hair a little jagged looking in places. Uneven. Also, yes, I used hairspray to help hold the fur once I got it where I liked it. If you've ever used hair products on yourself, its basically the same process.

Oh, and Memnoch, I totally agree with you in terms of customs being an art.

I'm curious on what this will end at as I know I'm in for the long haul. It really is on par with SS's stuff. I can see him already on my shelf with a collar around his neck at the side of Boussh/Boushh.

BUT shouldnt we get back to Asajj?

Back on the subject of Asajj, I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I had zero to no interest in her when announced, but SS has managed to take the CW and EU designs and meld them into something great! I honestly don't have a bad thing to say, and no lazy eye to worry about. :lol Now if they can just keep QC up and gloss sprays away, this looks like a real winner!

I'm feeling the same way... I just might have to get her now.

Easily my most anticipated 12" figure yet. I hope that this is just a sign of good EU characters to come.

Oh come on most anticipated character. Please! Most forgetable maybe. Stupid cartoon. If this many people want it then maybe I should order and sell for a higher price. That would make me feel great.

You might want to learn to read, Loki said this is MY most anticipated 12" figure. That does not in any way imply that this is anyone elses most anticpated figure.

Last we really don't need another, I don't like it and will post many times saying so person here. We already have Collector Freak.:lol :lol

EVERY message board has one or two posters like this. It never fails.

Since they said "look for the Asajj Preview and PPO sometime in November" I assume that they won't put her up for sale the day after Thanksgiving... which would mean PREVIEW next Thursday with the PPO the following Friday.

I have to say, I'm very happy Asajj is coming before Padme and will be the first EU figure... as I voted for her.

Eh. Four days to go. Alot happens in four days.

I'll never understand why people start bidding so early. There will always be a mad rush at the end to win the item. None of those early bids ever hold up and just end up driving the price up. Oh well. Some of it is most likely the seller with another ID or a friend bidding it up for him. I don't believe that in this case, but you know it has to happen a lot.

Actually there have been quite a few times where I've bid early and won. With Chewbacca though I will be going down to the wire with it.

Yeah, I guess it depends on what you're bidding on. In the collectibles world I have neer had much luck with an early bid holding up. There always seems to be a big rush at the end.
