I really don't like testing... I find it more annoying than talking to someone, or if I don't like them I just ignore them.

But I find people texting around me even more of a pain... having people sitting next to you at lunch; head down c^^^^ing on their phone is just ridiculous. I actually do have concerns over how well future generations will be able to relate to one another. It already seems to be a problem, but as people become more and more connected to others through technology the less able they are to deal with face-to-face interactions.

That's terrible, man - sorry to hear about that. There was a story/investigation on NPR the other day about teen texting/phoning while driving. One of the segments was about a high school girl doing the same thing and had an accident. Although she was a bit luckier and was only paralyzed from the waist down. Now she travels around to schools to give lectures on the dangers of texting/phoning while driving.

It usually takes a tragedy to get someone to stop being stupid. I mean texting while your driving? Sure while i'm at it i'll read a book - your frickin' driving!

~~~i hate texting. very annoying little thing. a few years ago i had a professor kick some girl out of class because she was doing it right in front of him during class. then she got mad the next class when he told her to turn her phone off.

I was telling the girls on my basketball team about this article today. One of them looked at me and goes thats nothing I've sent 21k in a month. I'd call bull but I actually believe her.

I like to text but it is starting to get ridiculous, my sister has her face in her phone like every waking moment and texts like ten people at a time. She will invite a freind over and for a long period of time they will just sit there, not saying anything to each other, and just text other people, and i'm like, why did you invite a friend over just so you two can talk to other friends?
