So they update the order page...with a picture of her box. Even SS doesn't want to show what the final figure ended up like. :monkey2

I think the figure looks fine in person. The eyes are nowhere near as bad as huge, blown-up photos make them look. They are probably a little lazy-eyied on mine, but it isn't enough to really notice.

I think she is a great figure for what she is, and definately not the worst in the line either. She is pretty low on the list, but I think the figure came out surprisingly well considering all the fuss over her. She still shouldn't have even been on the poll, but what can you do now?

Two complaints: Holster doesn't close, it is just a hufe piece of pleather. Second, no where to put the grenade if she is holding the pistol and binoculars. So it is hiding in the large holster.

I'll steer clear of the obvious innuendo created by the wording of that comment  however...

Went to go look at the box pictures and...they don't enlarge when clicked. Has anyone posted pictures of the box yet?

why even put up a poll if they already expect someone to win ?

with a repaint and the forearms made shorter this would be a really good figure. Everything else seems good on it, especially the sculpt.

I wish I was getting one to try the sculpt on an episode I custom (even though she looked younger in that film. I'm sure with Ep. I makeup though it would look amazing)

it's sideshow's impression of our ballot casting in the u.s.

vote all you want, but the winner is pre-determined. :lol :lol :lol

At what point does investing funds to this project not make sense? It all depends on your interest in the character design, for me an Ilum Padme just isn't worth $100 no matter how good it was repainted or whatever. I'd sooner sell the figure on ebay for a slight loss than invest more $ into it.

With the success of the SW line, I expect that they were going to make all of them eventually. Obviously they had a plan for Asajj and she was easier to execute. There were some pitfalls in the development of SnowPadme.

I don't really appreciate being called a liar, let's just get that straight. First of all, of course the eyes are the most noticeable thing when you post a photo of a huge close up of her face. If you look at the 'full figure' photos posted on this board - like this one: https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showpost.php?p=762003&postcount=363 - the figure as a whole looks pretty similar to the ones on our site, except for the lighting is different. If you notice, there are no photos taken from her right side on our site, as she is meant to have the 'stare to the left' feel.

Looking at her in-hand, she matches up pretty well with the PRODUCTION SAMPLE photos on our site. That is NOT the protoype on the site, it is a sample from the factory. Some of you may remember the original prototype photos - she had a vinyl/pleather costume rather than the fabric (yes, I remember the camel toe comments, thanks). Also, the forearms are pretty much the same too, so no after the fact, bait-and-switch going on here, I swear!

Is it really too much to ask not to base your comments on moodily-lit, extreme close-up photos posted on a message board and to wait until it's in-hand to start bashing it? ;)

Some people just need to be put into place. Hopefully you've accomplished this Dusty but............

Dusty, meant no disrespect and wasn't calling you a liar. Just wish we had a heads up on the change of the eyes because, to myself anyway, it's a big change to go from looking forward to looking to the left. I still think it's a great figure just not feeling the eyes.

I agree with Dusty here. This figure is a wonder of new designs. The sculpt and paint apps are some of the best of the line. Some people just love to bash something for no reason.
