Story behind this was i have been trying to find a Blondie for the longest...thought i would never get him and i scored on off from ebay winning the bid at $400. Crazy!!!!! I love it

I can confirm. He showed me the link soon after he won the bid.

I think Odell thought it was a bash at first, but after I read him the description I pointed out it was Rainman's Head and Clothing Set

I wouldn't have given out that link Odell until you shook the seller of any other Rainman pieces he might have considered selling

I shook the hell out of the seller of Col Mortimer and ended up buying the rest of the GBU from him

Must be . If memory serves me correct the last Bill the Butcher to sell on here was for $800 so if that's the going rate come on people send those $800 Butchers my way, I may even pick up 2 at that price .

I think its clear that Blondie is worth considerably more than $400 but that's the risk you take when you auction on eBay sometimes things that are worth squat go for silly money and sometimes beautiful pieces that are worth something go for squat. Nature of the beast.

IDK if that's set in stone, but it sounds like the GBU guys are across the board more in that realm ($400-$700 ea.). They don't fetch the same dough as most of his other pieces. All the auctions I've seen recently have been around that and if I remember correctly, I saw all 3 go for around $1000 (H & C on bodies).
