Must be . If memory serves me correct the last Bill the Butcher to sell on here was for $800 so if that's the going rate come on people send those $800 Butchers my way, I may even pick up 2 at that price .

I think its clear that Blondie is worth considerably more than $400 but that's the risk you take when you auction on eBay sometimes things that are worth squat go for silly money and sometimes beautiful pieces that are worth something go for squat. Nature of the beast.

That Butcher is Next Level, I'm starting to feel as if it never will be topped, not even faded at the prospect of a company like Hottoys or Enterbay doing it.

Bill the Butcher and the Dude are the two figures I think will hold their value best from Rainman due to the sheer quality of the figures , the fan base of the characters and the small chances of competition in 1/6 with them ( especially of this quality ). I'd say the same for the fight club set but with Iminime already planning a Tyler and possibly a Norton and so many custom figures and sculpts being around it opens up more options for interested buyers. Not to say they will beat the quality of Rainman's figures or course and definitely not to say they will drop below retail for a long time , that goes for the rest of his figures also.

I was never interested in a Bill figure since I'm not a big fan of Gangs of New York as a movie , but with how amazing the figure ended up , how rare it is now and the fact I wasn't happy with the clothing set of the Daniel Plainview I was waiting for ( couldn't afford the full set at the time ) I do regret not picking one up.

Amen on bringing the Dude into the equation. That's a figure as you well know I am actively searching for. Gonna cost a pretty penny from my initial enquiries I'd say he's every bit as expensive as Bill the Butcher if not at least extremely close.

IDK if that's set in stone, but it sounds like the GBU guys are across the board more in that realm ($400-$700 ea.). They don't fetch the same dough as most of his other pieces. All the auctions I've seen recently have been around that and if I remember correctly, I saw all 3 go for around $1000 (H & C on bodies).

Like Bullet said they were probably really unlucky auctions ( for the seller ), but that what I've seen recently. I know there was a blonde up in the FS for $2500 recently also. IDK ow that ended up

I would agree on $400-$700 for the clothing set

The Full figures that were put up as a trio never sold and the seller ended up breaking them up. They were the clothing sets for sure, but not painted heads by DX Studios. They were painted by the seller and the clothes were weathered by him.

I understand the need to be accurate by weathering clothes, but I wouldn't want anyone weathering mine.

Who knows how much the GBU full figures are valued at. Its hard to say and there are so many ways to Bash a Blondie now that there really isn't a need to chase the full figures. Now bashing a Tuco or Angel Eyes will be a lot tougher.

Soon a lot of us will be able to Bash a very good looking Bill the Butcher with all the parts available out there. Especially with all the upgrades Robbie is making. Can't wait for Seb to finish mine up

Edit: Yeah I don't see that Blondie selling for $2500, even with the Addblue upgrade in clothing

Nah was looking for ages but noone would part with him. I picked up VM's Bill the Butcher and I have plans to upgrade the head with a Rainman original and the Hat with one of the ones Robbie is currently doing.

I think I'll get a Dude in the end, patience is a virtue well patience and being prepared to offer enough money lol
