This WC fifa said they wanted to crack down on the diving, thus Italy is screwed.....Guess Italy is used to having it given it to them and not earning it.....and that shows.

Yes, Pirlo hurts us, but it is even more frustrating when young, creative, and passionate attacking players such as Miccoli, Cassano, Rossi and Balotelli were left home by you, in favor for has beens with trophies like Iaquinta and Gilardino. I dont care if these players have maturity issues or tht they dont play for the old gaurd (Milan, Juve), THEY HAVE FREAKING PASSION. This team is disgrace and deserves to be humiliated. Great effort by both Slovakia and NZ, as they did this federation a service by embarrasing us.......

Well, every 4 years yes, but the mls is ranked as the 45th best domestic competition in the world, with ratings and rankings not improving in over 10 years, so I wouldn't go that far...

As defending champions, we are prob going to fail to advance out of a cupcake group and one of the easiest i have ever seen. All becuase of pride. Well pride precedes the fall and he is falling right now and most of the blame falls on him for the reasons stated in my previous post..... Main reason is the coach sucks and didn't take the right players and isn't using the ones he took properly.


The diving is just a....well it's just one of those things Italy players are well known for. In fairness it has been beneficial for them over the years and once in this WC. It just seems shady to see big strong athletes go down so easy flailing their arms and legs around and moaning like they just got kicked in the jewels.

Their play in the final 3rd has been abysmal... There is ZERO creativity. How Cassano could have ever been left off the squad is a joke. Sure, he's unstable but he's also class with the ball at his feet. Face it, our old players are too old and the young players simply don't offer enough to make a difference.... the number of Juve players in the squad is insulting. Anyway, couldn't agree with you more.

Well, I don't watch the MLS at all but I watch 3-4 Serie A or EPL games a week plus another 2 or 3 games when CL is being played, so while the MLS might not be a big hit with viewers I do think there's a large market in the US for soccer, just not MLS soccer.
