2nd Darth Vader PF in the works!

I need this new Vader PF since the original sold out long before I started collecting Sideshow. I have lots of Star Wars PF's that he can go with.

I'll never get rid of my first Vader - only because it has sentimental value for me.

I actually dont want to get too excited about this too quickly, we still have The 2nd Scout to be released and Dooku, which wont be till end of this year and start of next year, then they have kind of announced the C-3PO PF, which would be sometime 2010 and then who knows whats in between, im guessing when this new vader is due, it would be around 3rd-4th quarter 2010 if not later..

I will not buy a second Vader PF. I have money and space for one each of the main characters from the OT. No duplicates. I didn't buy Slave Leia and I wouldn't buy ESB Fett or any other character I already own in PF form. The existing Vader is a great piece and a nice companion to Obi-Wan. I don't need another one.

I think it's good news for the ones who weren't able to get the first one, either cause they started collecting late or for some other reason, like myself. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

I agree 100%. The pose of the original never won me over. Heck of a piece but I have always preferred a different pose.

I'd totally be down for a matching set of dueling Vader and Bespin Luke ... with bases that connect to each other to form part of the gantry!

Good point. But that's a good thing for me, will give me time to readjust my display when I get a new place and decide whether to have Vader with the other Sith or facing off with Obi...or both...

If it were up to me I would go for broke with ESB. I would do Vader in the Mediation Chamber. I would also make a PF Diorama with Vader from ROTJ, Luke from ROTJ and the Emperor on his Throne so that you could display them all together. If we have pose from ESB I hope its the kneeling pose from the communications with the Emperor instead of the Bespin Duel poses because those have been done so many times....

I much prefer the throne room scene where Vader and Luke have sabers crossed in front of the emperor on his throne to be in a vs dio than in PF.

And an ESB Vader kneeling would be really awesome. I have the GG statue so it'd be a pass for me, but had I known Sideshow would do one I woulda waited for it.
