I wouldn't mind seeing a plain static pose like from this scene:

It'd almost look like it'd just be the armor almost if there were no Vader inside. Of course they'd have the SDCC Exclusive already precalculated:

Yep a static pose is the only way to do it.I hate looking at figures or statues in scene poses.

Isn't that first pose there a little too close to the first release? Plus both pictures look like ROTS promotional shots. I want something actually from ESB or ROTJ.

And I put the pictures up as Pose References not for what film they are out of

This is in the "we want to revisit it" stage not the "we are working on it" stage. Why cancel the 1/6th when it will probably be 2 years until we get this one if we ever get it at all.

That's why I think that keeping the 1/6 Vader is better and waiting to see if/when SS does the 2nd PF.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I think it'd be cool to have this poseable? Some people like the action pose, other prefer the plain static pose. I think the static pose is classic/true pose to the original Vader we knew. But what do you guys think?

I think poseability would be a big turnoff for PF fans.

Yeah, true. But with a character like this that has ALL clothing and fabric you wouldn't really be able to tell it's poseable. But I agree. PF's aren't meant to be posed. So scratch that idea

I ask cause I just called SS to cancel and item and the recording stating they are taking order for a 1/4 Vader.

I really like the action poses but for some reason I want a Vader PF like the Attakus statue. The one where he is standing with hands to his sides.
Maybe an EP V on the Holo projector before he kneels.

I kinda feel the same way. Something more stoic would work for me. Like joda76 said, standing with hands at his side would be fine. Maybe holding his lightsaber in his right hand and a force left.

Me too. Attakus style pose with an unignited saber.

It may sound kinda boring, but I think it would work best for an iconic Vader representation.
