3.75" Collecting Thread

I will say this about the updated Fett ship the stand they created for it is pretty damn amazing and allows the ship to be presented in its best manner and form.

For me as soon as you lay it down it looks like a plastic toy but in flight mode on that new stand it looks like an elegant collectible but that?s just me lol

Still definitely not worth the new asking price though regardless of the cool flight stand.

Then again 1/6 Hot Toys should have never broken the $300 line then the $350 line then the $400 line yet here we are.

We'd ask you gentlemen to surrender, but we know you won't.

Mine shipped at a higher cost than the estimate BBTS gave when I preordered AND I will most definitely be charged customs on this. Expensive one for me but it may well be the last Star Wars vehicle I ever buy.

I know Ireland is beautiful and all but as a collector you really should have moved to the US before deciding you needed 150 different versions of T2 pescadaro escape lol

I cringe every time I read a post from a UK, Ireland, Australian and Canadian collector.

I live near little ireland you would feel right at home lol

With your talent, you could make an entire illustrated original story with shots of these "unseen adventures" like this photo. Great stuff, as always. :clap

Thank you! I also realize I left out his glove on that shot, quick edit/change to Luke

Do you mean because there are no collectors somewhere else? I thought the world was through with Anglocentrism... The Empire needs you!!

My suspicions were true. Screw Hasbro and Disney, complete fools.

From Dorkside Toys

I?m going to preface my comments here by saying we?re just having a discussion and in no way am I attacking you or anyone who disagrees with what I?m telling you. I?m a fan, I work in the toy business and my company sells in excess of 7 figures a year in Hasbro Star Wars product. I?m privy to information that is not given to the public and we work with Hasbro directly.

As a fan I agree with you and I?m equally frustrated by the limited number of new releases. We all want more TVC. As a company we sell far more TVC than we do Black Series. And it?s honestly not even close. I?ll go a step further and also say that as fan I?m just as pissed as anyone when I hear Hasbro give reply with a thoughtless tone deaf comment that we?re ?meeting demand? when it?s obvious that they are not!?

You left out the part where he clarified and says that HE sells more TVC than TBS but knows that TBS sells far more overall, everywhere else.

I meant my suspicions were true in reference to an earlier comment of mine in this thread:

This is my hope, an online based market for TVC from Amazon/BBTS/EE/Dorkside/etc...

I think the line would thrive.

Yet, despite the strong online sale numbers, Hasbro does nothing.

And you left off this key line from Dorkside

TBS is a much larger line that sells much better because it's got much better retail support

Hasbro is purposefully killing this line imo

I think he also explained that too in another post. Hasbro doesn't control what the stores order from them for stock. If walmart is only stocking TBS because they feel it sells better than TVC, Hasbro can't force them to order more TVC. He personally orders TVC because he knows it sells fine. But big chain stores, for whatever reason, don't. And that's not actually Hasbro's fault.
