I'm not a big 3.75 fan, But I gotta say the sculpts on some of these older aliens are fantastic and very photogenic.

Wow, such awesome pics as usual!

This just shows what great stuff we've seen come out of Kenner/Hasbro over the years. As a kid growing up, having all these figures was a distant dream.

Great pics. Are most of these figures from power of the force line? They do look great.

Thanks! Yeah pretty much all POTF stuff

Thank you! They definitely were great at packing tiny details into tiny figures

Have them all and Yes older figure sculpts are superior to the Disney era

I actually think some of the new figures have sculpts better than any of the older figures. The recent 5 POA Boba Fett figure is pretty amazing. I think the best Vaders came from the Disney era with both the ROTS Black Series Vader and the recent probe droid two pack Vader. That probe droid itself is outstanding as well.

I see that Hasbro has announced that for the TVC line that after Waves 2 or 3 they'll start using smaller bubbles on the cards and that they're changing the material on the cardbacks to better adhere to the bubbles so that tape won't be needed. Good news but too bad that Jyn had to come out in the first wave in such a ridiculously over-sized bubble.

I agree on the newer 5 poa figures, the sculpts have been really awesome on all that I've checked out. Much better than any previous efforts. Unfortunately they lack in paint details sometimes though.

That ROTS Black Vader is by far the best 3 3/4" Vader sculpt, I love it! It's just too bad the damn head falls off at the slightest touch lol

The Rouge One 5 poa Vader is outstanding as well, not sure if it's the same sculpt that came in the Probe Droid pack? It just might be.

That's a great stuff right there. Beautiful pics, perfect lighting, they really highlight your figs.

Personally, I think that 3.75" is going down in quality. Back in 2010, when I started collecting again (I began more or less in 2005 but stopped to deal with real-life affairs), I was amazed by what pre-Disney Hasbro was putting out with what I consider the pinnacle of 3.75": TVC.

Que level of detail, the respect for the audience, the hommage to the OT and Kenner... it was just perfect, and it was why I fell again.
I even have a best 3.75" ever:

Because of the way Anakin was depicted on the card, holding the lightsaber in that particular way, Hasbro felt they should equip this fig with perfectly articulated wrists. Hasbro's take at Clone Wars Ani was realistic, which in my book is just the right thing to do. On top of that: mixed media for the clothes...... Boy, am I still amazed.....

Obi's figure was also a piece of beauty:

Those were the days. Afterwards, with the Black Series, it was again poorly-articulated and sculpted figures from poor films..... :-(
Regarding vehicles, you just can't compare Wedge's X-Wing from TVC with Disney's Hasbro's TFA X-Wings: too small, unaccurate sculpt, rubber parts deformed....... Horrible, even if the subject matter was cool.

Don't get me wrong: I own some 3.75" and 1/12 BS figs, and they are great, but only a few qualify.

Regards,
m.

Thanks :D

Some of those 5poa sculpts are amazing. The Rogue One 5poa Stormtrooper is not only the best sculpted trooper helmet in the entire 3.75 line, it even gives most of the 6 inch helmet sculpts a run for their money. The only one better than it is the model kit stormtrooper figure from bandai.

I would go as far as to say the 3 3/4" Rouge One helmet sculpt is better than most 1/6 offerings as well. The "non animated" style stormy from the rebels 3 3/4" line was a fantastic sculpt too.

www.rebelscum.com and Robot Kingdom have the first glimpse of TVC Enfy Nest. :rock

I’m really looking forward to this wave. The Hover Tank driver (multiples for sure) from Rogue One to load up the TVC Hover Tank with and the Solo figures. I really enjoyed the Solo Movie more than I thought I would.

Looking forward to pay a premium for the 3 new figures from that wave as etailers will want to recoup their losses on the 5 repacks :gah:

Gives her more air to breathe so she doesn.t suffocate Khev.

Yeah it’s crazy how many they are repacking to just 3 new figures. All the repacks are already peg warmers at my Target.

Ehmmm... Sorry to ask, but I have been a while away from the whole 3.75 business......
Too tired to guess: what is "5poa"??
Thanks,
