Like all the Medicom movie figures - he's shorter than the comic book Medicoms and any other 1/6 figure. But if you have Vader, Rocketeer, Bauer, etc. - he'll fit in well with those.

thanks Dave. that's kinda what i'd thought. so rule of thumb w/ Medi is if it's movie based, it's a shorty. damn shame, but i guess i'll be thankful that my Spidey is 12".

so i guess the Jackman Wolvie will be short. daaaamn shame!

Can you, like, swap out the heads and clothes to the nude Medicom bodies that they sell to fix their height differance?

great question!!^^ i'd been wondering that too. i see the Medi 301 RAH nudes on Ebay sometimes. damn pricey for just the body (usually about $50.00 w/o shipping), but if u could make a cherished fig in scale w/ the rest of ur stuff it might be worth it, assuming the heads don't look too small on the slightly bigger bod.

From pictures, I think the heads may be the right size; my biggest concern is that the clothing might look ... shrunk.

I don't mind buying a replacement body, except what to do with the short body? In a perfect world, I could plug on Luke's head and hands to solve the monkey arm problem.

Well at least with the coming Wolvie figure, being a short guy won't matter. Wolverine is supposed to be a lot smaller than Jackman really is... so that won't bother me too much...

But poor Jack is gonna look kinda silly next to my SSC figs... :monkey2

If you buy the nude Medicom 301 body, it comes with extenders for the ankles to boost the height up by half an inch.

You can probably use some small diameter PVC piping to extend the Medicom Jack's ankles to give him some height.

I have to measure my Medicom Jack, but I think it is about 11.5". So if I extend his ankles by 0.5', that will make him 12".

Remember that Johnny Depp is only 5'10", which translated to 1/6 would be 11.7". A 6' person in 1/6 would be 12" tall.

So actually, the Medicom figure is about the right height. Captain Jack Sparrow shouldn't be 12" tall.

The height won't bother me all that much if it's in the 11-11.5 range....

Nice picture of him from the back.

Correct me of I am wrong, but I believe Wolverine is supposed to be short (one of the reasons I thought 5'4" Glen Danzig should've portayed him).

Comics version Wolverine should be short, about 5'4". But movie version Hugh Jackson is probably 6' tall.

well if Medi continues w/ their current trends the Movie version will be on a short body.

lol, i always thought Danzig woulda been a great Wolvie too, except i doubt he coulda carried the acting part

True Hugh is a wee bit taller. Raises the question on whether such things should be based on the character profile or the actor.... Wasn't Danzig in some movie a while back? Wasn't too bad*.

And Mookey, I will miss the clanging Don't Fear The Reaper Icon! Like you new one too though...

EDIT: *Oh yeah. it was Aqua Teen Hunder Force... he he... nevermind and I just found this on IMDB: "Was offered the role of Wolverine in X-Men (2000), but turned it down due to a scheduling conflict during the time of filming".

Just bumping this thread after I found a pic of the repaint:
