LOL, not my fault some people don't want to dish out money for a quality system. You can't afford it, not my fault, buy the bare bones system. Because yea know the 360 supports the first one still right? The backwards compatibility of the 360 is worst than the newer models of the PS3.

What the hell are you talking about, all I was saying is that the currently available models (80GB and 40GB) have limited (80GB) or no (40GB) backwards compatibility, that has nothing to do with value. Also, if you'll notice, the Xbox 360 Elite is $450 meaning it's MORE expensive than at least the 40GB model, so it's not exactly cheap. And the Xbox 360 backwards compatibility is really quite good, it might not be all games but they have almost every game you'd want to play.

Yea and half of the games are special editions of the same games, doesn't count champ. Cut the number down by half.

Don't be an idiot, they don't rerelease each of those games twice.

Umm what? LOL. The 80GB of the PS3 has just as much if not better BC than the Elite 360. And value does, they took out the ability and some bells and whistles on the 40 GB to make it cheaper to appeal to the more casual gamer just as they did with the 360 Arcade.

And yea almost all of those games they release "twice" or SE, LE, etc...

The Arcade Xbox 360 is just the console without a hard drive, the 40GB PS3 is half the size of the hard drive without the backwards compatibility and less ports, I think that's more substantial.

And no, none of those games are listed twice, you're an idiot. https://www.metacritic.com/games/xbox360/scores/

Oh is it, it's also the Microsoft equivalent of the 40GB bare bones PS3.

The arcade not only doesn't have the hard drive as you claim but also: The headset is sold separately, the network cable is sold separately, as is an HDMI digital cable, and it's only compatible with 360 games, no BC...so I'm pretty sure it's not just the hard drive.

The 40 GB PS3 on the other hand cannot read flash cards, has no SACD support, two USB ports instead of the four USB ports, and has no PS2 compatibility.

And that list proves nothing, who are these people rating these games, half the games on the 360 list are also available on the PS3.

Talking to him is like talking to a

So the PS comes with all of these standard?

don't forget how long it took them to release a rumble-enabled controller in the states. something that MS does OUT OF THE BOX

don't get me wrong, JSK...I don't hate my PS3. in fact i think that MGS4 is a damn near perfect game...but i also know the sun does not rise and set to Sony.

one truly stellar game (and a handful of pretty good ones) does not compete with the 360 to me.

sorry.

Yea, the reason I haven't got a PS3 as of now is that there have been NO truly remarkable, great games to play. Sure Drakes, Resistance were good, but not GREAT. Plus, all the GREAT games, COD4, etc were for XBOX and PS3, no exclusives for the PS3 (except for MGS4, which is why I'm not going to get a PS3)

Nick, i figured you'd disagree with me just 'cause you don't like me! :D
glad to see reason won out!:lol

So..... i'm thinking that i might trade my Wii in to get a box, to jam with you guys, is this a smart move or a stupid one?

You could probobly get more out of your Wii by selling it(that just sounds wrong why in the hell couldnt they just call it the revolution) than trading it in.
