And I can see who has retweeted and favorited that picture over the last few days and they've all been 343/Microsoft Merchandise Creators. So I'm hoping they're thinking about 1:6 figs. Some of them sent winking faces as if they had plans on it.

I too would love Cortana, but I don't think she is possible at full 1:6. I also doubt we'll ever see legacy figure designs. They will all be current. :/

I wish you luck but it might be kind of involved. For the one figure from this line I owned (Spartan Recruit), they used a special larger body with ratchets, magnets and lights built in.

I did this.
I made cuts in it, took extra pieces out and glued it back together.

-I take it you used the same body?
-Just super glue the rubber pieces back together?
-did you overlap the rubber to glue them so they wouldn't get glued to the body?

I tried to not overlap because that created more depth. Some cuts required it. I used super glue but I'm not sure that was the best option a year later as some parts of the seams want to separate now.

Just picked up Chief from a Chinese seller on eBay for $17 since I'm on a tight student budget, should be here in a few weeks, I'll keep you all posted on whether or not it turns out to be legit. In the meantime, anyone have a Carter they're willing to part with?
