Definitely let us know. I have one, but I'd love to customize one for just $17

The Seller had 5 listed when they went on sale earlier this week, they're sold out now that I checked again. Sorry :(

My thoughts too, but on the off chance it isn't I thought I would give it a shot since I can't afford the real deal. Do you know about any bootleg master chiefs around that size that I might receive?

Found Wave 2 of the Mattel line today. Didn't think I'd ever see them in the wild.
First thing I did is start to repaint Arbiter.

Looks great! I suggest posting this on the Halo Mattel discussion board on the Fwoosh too. I picked up the whole wave and I've painted a few so far, especially happy with Jerome and the grunt

Is anyone selling master chief for a low price? The cheap eBay listing I bought was a scam, the seller gave back the money I paid at least

Hmmmm the latest one I actually saw in my area was 170 USD but that's an EX. You could find Reg for 120 - 130 USD, 2nd hand if you look hard enough, I think.
It's a nice-looking figure with flaws but once fixed, its one of the best representation for MC IMO.

Bit of a battle Rez post but wanted to show but also ask.

Got a 3d printer and thought, yes Halo guns. Made and mock painted up a battle rifle for Chief. Think it looks maybe a little to small, hard to get a matching size while having a uncomfortable looking hold for it.
See a lot of the print lines because I only cleaned up the silhouette of the gun rather than the entire thing, due to being nervous of scale still.

Been thinking of getting some thick welding wire to almost have a armature underneath the armour, slotted between the rubber suit and armour panels, to scared to cut anything.
Have it all under and hidden but should help him keep his arms close to his chest.
As for the hands, I'm not totally sure what to do.
Been contemplating maybe tiny magnets drilled and glued to each finger tip and then do the same for any custom made gun.

Unsure if anyone is still subbed to this or interested anymore. Seems the manufactures have no interest past smaller action figure toys or Lego.

Master Replicas made a Battle Rifle and Covenant Carbine in 1/6 scale many years ago...

For a long time I wanted them but sure i heard they where a little small for the scale ?.
Also like with shapeways, I didn't want to pay so much for just a weapon.

My homemade while still needing refinement on size, costs so little in comparison. Now I can see the effort and actual cost I am shocked some people charge so much for a 3d printed item. Crazy

Another question is, over the years...
Has anyone else done anything special to Chief at all ?.
Any easy mods, alterations or items to add to him ?.

This is my second Chief now (had to sell first for fund a house move) and for my original I did have a duster/poncho and a scaled chain to match the first Halo 4 teaser trailer. Regret that I have zero pictures of that and all my other sold on stuff. New camera at some point to remedy it all to catalogue my crap for memories. Lol

I have been tempted to see if I can get something going for the printer to have a chest plate like the new game but like the Halo 4 look loads. Might just find some decals to get 117 on the chest as a compromise.

Surprised no revival of the thread with the new series out.

I decided to try some improvements. I painted the suit black and made some cuts to crotch to allow for more pose ability. Perhaps some day someone with more skills than me can successfully pull off a body swap.

till then I managed a slight improvement

Was seriously hoping for this line to of worked out with ThreeA but the engineering of these figures were horrible. From the choice to articulate the fingers versus sculpting the hands, to the horrible flimsy under body and the overall bulky proportions. It just seemed like they could of put more thought into the design but went with the least effort approach for a cash grab IP... my opinion of course, but i was really disappointed by this line.

How 3A squandered this license is probably my greatest disappointment in collecting of the past decade. Did the rubber on anyone else's Halo 4 figures tear at the elbows or around the back of the knees?
