My most anticipated figure of 2015, could possibly be figure of the year.
You got that right...the weathering on these figures and the paint apps are second to none. So even that phone pic of MC still looks freaking sweet.

Hey all. New to threea figures and have a few questions as really want to add a chef to my collection.
What's the articulation normally like? Able to do anything dynamic or is museum pose the way to go?.
Is there a good place to buy the previous releases weapons parted out?
I love playing the sniper so a br or actual sniper rifle would be great. Saw a few pages ago people where talking of a weapon making project. Would ask to be considered to be put on a interested list for some new weapons if we can buy parted out.
Anyways, thanks in advance and keep the great pictures.

The figures have crazy articulation...there is more articulation in one of the figures hands then some figures period. I find the hips a little loose...or not wanting to hold a pose...that's why I like using a stand. They will stand fine on their own but for what I paid I don't want any shelf diving going on. So mine I keep in a museum type pose. Now the other leg joints have a ratching feel to them and are excellent and in the arms as well. You can check out some unboxing videos on YouTube and you will be able to see them in action. I still haven even opened mine to put the batteries in. I like the light up feature on them just not sure I will actual be one to use it. As for loose weapons I havent seen any of course these guys arent ones I can imagine someone all to break down and part out. The head has wires that connect it to the torso, arms are the same way...the only thing you could part out would be the magnet armor piecs and the knives and rifle or shotgun.
Had something come in today to add to my Halo collection.
The ThreeA figure are over 13" and are huge in there own right.....but this thing is redonkulasly big. I freaking love it! I was lucky enough to snag an exclusive edition #32 of 300. Ooooooo it's been a good day.

As great as the Halo 1-3 design is, I really love his Halo 4 armor. I'm almost tempted by the McFarlane statue but that Halo 4 logo is a turn off.

Happy to hear that the articulation is good for some nice poses. Not worried about shelf divers as the collection is in cases to help protect fro such events, and the cats. Haha
I tend to have majority of my 30 or so hot toys fairly neutral but fancy posing chief more dynamic or atlest to seem a bit more organic V arms at his side. May even try to get a little cortana to go next to him.
Shame there is no real option of getting some more.weapons though so I do hope someone makes a project at making a batch for sale.
Been away from the forum community for ages but glad now I am getting back into it that there are friendly people about that share a love past the putty bickering.

Yeah the SS Master Chief statue is amazing. 1/4 is definitely where it's at for statues and figs IMO but 1/6 scale is too much fun. Lots of options in smaller scales.

I love the idea of 1/4 due to the extra space for accuracy and details that can be omitted from the smaller 1/6. Just price and size has kept me in 1/6 but then even Hot Toys seem to want to price me out of that to ATM.
I hear ya! I collect a mix of anything I like...you should see all the Golgo 13 things I have....it's boarder line insane. I've never really collected 1/4 scale anything though even though I loved a bunch of the pieces NECA put out. It's just the space they take up that scares me. I've reviewed quiet a few but I never owned any. Then the Neca Halo 4 Master Chief came out and my swearing off 1/4 scale went right out the damn window. The thing is freaking stunning! So I went from I don't have room TO by God in heaven I will make some room! Now I just need to get my happy butt back to Ikea to get more Detolfs. My back wall is going to a complete run of them.....its a sickness I tell you. I would have made a terrible drug addict considering I'm this strung out on plastic.

Been on the fence about finding myself an Emile figure. Obviously one of the cooler designs from Reach, but it seems like the figure isn't all that flexible/poseable, plus the issues with the magnets...
