Fair enough. However, it only makes a character look stoned if the head position is wrong. With the head bowed a little it looks perfect. I will admit that this does limit posing options, which some will not like.
Personally, I am willing to make the sacrifice, as a bowed head is almost always my prefered position.
sculpt itself doesn't imply such an expression.

And I love his crazy face! Have many goosebumps when he doing it in the movie
True enough. And, as I said, this is a matter of personal preference.
However, I just wanted to make the point that the sculpt is closest to this shot:
and therefore, painters/customers may want take that into consideration.
