A General Chat about Hot Toys

Well I like to know I have a "complete" figure, and the box is a big part of it. Plus, there are times when you lose interest in a figure and decide you want to trade/sell it... much harder without the original packaging.

If I spend near/over $200 on a figure, I tend to keep the boxes. It's the boxes of less expensive toys that gets thrown out first, whenever I feel like I'm getting a bit overcrowded.

Save the boxes if you can. If you need to resell it, you will be glad you did.

Yeah, plus the boxes of HT figs are like collectible items themselves. Such awesome designs. Mine are displayed/stored on top of my closet and my friends always ask to see the box art when I get a new figure

Why are their releases so random both in choice and time? We get the Fishburne character from Predator out of nowhere, with full picture gallery, and preorder. But stuff like 2.0 Joker we're left hanging. And what's this about a new Robocop version??

It's still having problems? I haven't visited it in months... I think I've read some reports here that the site was clean again, but I didn't trust it enough to check it out for myself

Haha, yea well according to Google it is still having issues. Whether Google needs to get updated or not I am not sure. I do remember a few months back it being fine cause I could finally get there to get some information but now it is back to being "harmful" again. It is a tad ridiculous.

I remember back when it was infected before. I stopped visiting it here at home because of the risk, but when I started my internship I thought I could visit the site from that place because they'd probably have virusblockers powerful enough to stop anything.

Well... They didn't

Got my PC there infected, couldn't do any work, wasn't allowed to log in on a different PC in fear of spreading it, so I was sent home early.
It was on my second day at work there
