Yeah, those cuffs are going to look great with..............................well, something SS might do in about 5 years. But at least you'll be prepared.

I already have a great representation of this exact same character in PF, not sure I need a lesser quality version.

What would you like the exclusive to be? They could have done the droid, but that COULD take away from Vader. They could have done the blaster but then folks would have *****ed like school girls. This is something that can be grabbed if wanted and passed if not.

As far as lesser quality. Well, that's all the opinion of the person buying the figure. :)

I think it's absolutely beautiful, but the dress doesn't fit right. Unless some futzing can save her, I'll probably sew an entirely new outfit for her. Find a thinner material and make it a bit longer, and it should be perfect. I'll wait and see what happens first though.

I agree. Why? Just look at all the other threads on the exclusives. No one will be happy wheather it's Qui-Gon's poncho or these little cuffs.

Yup, someone's gonna be mad. So save something awesome like the droid for Vader. Just makes sense to me. Then again what the hell do I know. :lol

I just remember how negative everyones comments were about Qui-Gon's poncho and now its one of the "must have" exclusives. :pow

Damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.

****** *******!!!!!!

I prefer the PF Leia.
As do I. As an owner of the PF I see no need to double dip. At all.

For some reason, I just realized that Andy's sculpt looks similar to his sculpt for Dana Scully.

I probably have to get new glasses, but from the pics posted above, the 12" looks closer in likeness than the PF... or maybe it's my idealized/nostalgic vision of Leia.

first post

i'm not much impressed. she looks pretty awkward. even worse than Han did. and i don't see much carrie fisher in her face but that would be okay if everything else looked better. maybe the lack of a new body is part of it but perhaps it wouldn't make much difference anyway since it looks like she's wearing a blanket

I love Andy's work, but I think this sculpt sucks. The face is way too full.
not to mention she looks like a stubby little lady with that body

and those hips......yikes!

Gee, I thought that was a Medicom body she was on. :lol

If she was on a Medicom body she wouldnt look like she had one too many cookies.

OK, I've just been studying these photos against reference pics I've gathered for when I get to rework this.... and from what I can tell (and it's important to say this is just a couple of photos) the things I will be changing are.....

  • The buns need to be larger, and come further down the sides of her head
  • Her forehead and eyebrows can be reshaped slightly
  • her cheeks and jawline at the side needs to be heavier... weightier
  • the hairline at the top and sides can be reshaped, depending on the part of the film to represent (it changes)

The lips and eyes (mainly the eye makup) is a bit heavy as people have said, and it will certainly look better with just a repaint.... but as long as I can get hold of one of these cheap enough (man I wish I had money to splash around) Ill be resculpting this

I'm not sure how the SS female body works, with regards to the head/neck attachment. So i don't know how that would work..... also, the neck at the sides, and the shoulders need to be thickened/worked up a little... this is whats making her look big headed... it looks like her head is balancing on a stick, not a human neck and shoulders

apart from that..... looks like a good figure!

Cmon, you REALLY think her elbows will bend that much on a SS body?

Anyway, that's uh.........not what I expected.....PASS.
