IMO they're equal in terms of quality. That's how I can say it. They're as high a quality item as the PF are IMO. I'm sorry that for whatever reason people think I'm wrong. I'm just saying my view. I don't feel when I'm getting my a lower quality item. When I get a PF I just feel I'm getting a bigger version that's equally as nice.

I hate to say anything bad about any Andy B product but I agree that the sculpt looks off.

When you compare it to the PF, it looks even worse. I wish SS would have just used the PF sculpt for the figure if that was even possible. The PF sculpt is absolutely perfect!!

As far as the binders go, it's not an exciting exclusive but to be honest I can't think of anything else either. They could have made the Stormtrooper blaster the exclusive like the PF but then the figure would have hardly any accessories.

Overall I'm happy but a bit disapointed.

And if anyone thinks that a 12" can compare to a PF in quality is absolutely fooling themselves. It's not even close, not even a comparison is worth making. Especially with the great sculpt on the PF Leia.

I gotta disagree. At $275 that PF Leia should be 5 times better than the 1:6 Leia. For $60, the average SW 1:6 price, these are just as good quality wise as a PF. You get what you pay for.

In fact when it comes to Maul, just based on the production pics, the 1:6 figure is much better quality-wise than the PF IMO.

If you resculpt her head, I would gladly replace the SSC one I am buying.

Really the only thing I really dislike about her is the hands. They seem so unexpressive and doll-like. The Jedi hands look so real... I don't dig her hands at all.

And pix? we'll see..... like I said, but wasn't taken from my posts, this figure could turn out to be super duper perfect.... or maybe the sculpt could be 100% and it's just the paint thats off. We won't know till people start getting/seeing them

In my observations I was just going by what we'd seen in these few photos, but as we all know... initial photos can make a good figure look terrible.

We'll see though... if the end product does look like this in hand, then yeah... I'll resculpt it. I mean... it's what us customisers do, right? lol

I don't think it's so much the sculpt as it is the expression. But I still like the PF and can't wait to see more pics.

If you look at the 1/6 Leia by itself it looks alot better. When you look at it alongside the PF Leia, it looks pretty bad.

Sure, there's the issue of price & scale to consider but it is hard to not compare every other ANH Leia out there to the PF Leia. I know when I saw the GG ANH Leia bust, I was already thinking about how it compares to the PF Leia. We might as well face the fact that the PF Leia is so awesome that it will be a hard one to beat.

For collector's who are after the best Leia, I completely understand why they would pass on this one.

for 1/6 scale enthusiasts who are willing to customize to get an accurate Leia, this one definitely has some potential.

This head looks a lot like the Bousch one, and I don't know for sure, but it could just be a variant of that sculpt. And that would be the problem as Carrie changed tremendously in 6 years.

ok this has been bugging me now (this is what I get for being a perfectionist!) and I've just done a quick edit of what I'm talking about for when I come to resculpt the head (if it can indeed be resculped... or unless it actually looks amazing when you all start getting it)

THAT'S IT!!!!!! THAT'S Leia! Carrie fisher had more baby fat in her face when she was 19. She was not nearly as gaunt as she was in Jedi when she lost all that weight to fit into the metal bikini and from doing all that coke. You nailed it. She needs a fatter face like Bespin Han and thicker donuts. That's just right.

You've got that right. And I think the PF is at least six times better. The sad thing is for the 12 inchers the protos always look better. Yikes.
