Unfortunately like with most statues and collectibles pictures don't do the piece justice as is the case again here; especially with my iphone4 camera. I must stress the point that while this piece photographs well it's much more impressive in person! The most important feature of this statue is the light up sabre. It looks amazing with the lights out. I had no problems turning it on for the first time. Mine is flawless. The eyes are perfect IMO. I was worried about how the fabric would turn out, but let me assure you there's nothing to worry about. In fact, the fabric is just one more reason that makes this piece kick ass! I can't believe people have canceled and are passing this up. You'll regret it. This piece is a must have! No Jedi, Sith or lightsaber wielding statue should come without a light up sabre from now on! Again the new tech sabre's are now the standard! Unfortunately she went right back into packaging because I have no room to display her right now so I just opened her for inspection. I was surprised at how much I like her. One more time if it wasn't for the light up sabre being what it is this would be just another statue but the light up sabre really does take it to a whole new level. It's nice Sideshow added the option to use a wall outlet or batteries to power it. I don't have much else to say about it. NorthernladMSP your pics came out great! Much better than mine and yours looks awesome! You definately got yourself a great one! Well done bro! :hi5:

I love this statue and have been waiting for her for a long time. She was the first piece I preordered and what got me interested in the hobby.

She finally arrived today and I took her out of all the packaging to find she has a broken leg! :( Right above the top of her boot on her right leg so she can't stand by herself, just like what happened to a couple other posters too. All that is holding it together is the fabric. I'm really disappointed because I was so excited to get her. I have contacted Sideshow and hopefully they will replace her. This is the first time I've got a damaged piece. What is the usual policy for this?

Damage aside, she is an amazing piece and I will love to add her to my growing collection when she is in one piece. :)

That sucks. Huge let down! But Sideshow will take care of you and you'll be fine. Congrats on picking it up. :hi5:

Sorry to hear this, Waveman. :(

Sideshow more than likely have you take pictures of the damage, then have you destroy it and take pictures of the aftermath.

Then they'll send you a replacement. It's happened to me twice and Sideshow has been very quick to send the replacement.

Man all these pictures are amazing. With the holidays coming up I’ve been so busy that I haven't had a chance to even open mine yet. I must set some time aside to do this tonight.

Awww man! Let us know how SSC handles this. Sorry to hear.

Not terribly, but enough of a bother to get it exchanged.
All that matters is what you think about it. It'll constantly be at the back of your mind if you don't exchange it.

I think the one they sent me turned out fine.
The only issue was getting the arm into the shoulder socket without pinching the fabric in between. It took a while, but I managed.

yours looks great hope mine is as good... nice pics :clap:clap:clap

Thank you PD. :duff
Let us know how yours turns out.
will do it's going to be while yet thoe.... just about to pay for the Aragorn p.f and then will probably will have to make 2 payments for Aylea so i can afford her. Buying Lurtz broke me :lol

I have it, but still can not decide if it will be opened, or re-sold.
As opposed to most here, I do NOT like the new light up feature on her. Maybe because it's blue, not red. Every time I see the lit saber, it looks like she is holding a neon or fluorescent light bulb. I can clearly see the walls of the tube, as well as it's tip.
The old style, although didn't have as intense glow, were easier perceived by me as energy beams instead of a solid glass tube filled with light.
Maybe it will grow on me....

wow.. I think you are one of the very very rare ones who does not like the new lightsaber... and honestly.. I do not understand your point ...

You got to admit, though, the way it turns on and off is pretty lightsaber-ish. First time I saw the light travel up and down the tube when turned on/off was bad ass! It still is. :yess:
