I finally saw one of these (reg. ed.) at a nearby toy store. Granted, it looks immense in the pictures, but it is just massive in person. I was blown away by its raw size, plus the sculpt is fantastic. The Thing was next to it and I was surprisingly impressed by that one as well, especially after reading all the bad press about it. I actually thought briefly about buying one of them, but the were asking 500.00 USD for the Abom. and 400.00 USD for the Thing, which seemed out of line to me, after adding in sales tax as well. Plus, I was sure I couldn't fit the Abom. box in my car, let alone find a suitable place to display it. It's a shame because they were both very impressive in person. Congrats to those who have, and can display, this piece.

Great observation sweetbabala. I had the exclusive myself and never once i think $500 is too much for this piece because of its massive sculpt and details.
You can get the Thing for $200 easy on Ebay, so yeah, out of line. Same thoughts on the Abomination though, super impressive in person. If I had the space, I'd probably buy the Abomination and put him up vs Thing.

Unfortuantely, now that I have seen them in person, I suspect I will have to buy at least one at them at some point down the road for my future "man room."
It's a bit ironic that the impressive size of some Sideshows statues makes for, in my opinion, an unparalleled display presence, but it's also their size, and those of the boxes, that stops me from buying some of them.

I finally saw this PF in person and it is absolutely incredible and massive. Currently the two PF's that I want the most are Abomination and Captain America. I already have Hulk and Thor which are by far my favorites PF's so I don't mind paying extra money for Abom and Cap since Marvel PF's are the best PF's.

The Abomination PF is way too much statue for me. I saw it in person and WOW.
If you're into bodybuilding the perfect PF's to have are the Hulk, Abomination, Zangief and Thor. That way you can stay motivated. Hey it works for me when I'm training.

I got the same as you (Hulk and Thor). After I pay off a couple of bills I'll go for Abomination in a couple of months since he is a must. I also have the Mecha Zangief on order. So I'll have four massive juicers in the house.
