As long as my Abomination is heavier than the Hulk PF I'll be satisfied. As he should be since he is so much bigger.

Is that Ant-Man a bowen piece or just a custom statue? I dont remember Bowen doing this...Anyway look amazing in this Avenger display.
GREY HULK PF COMING BACK IN THE WORM'S COLLECTION VERY SOON !!!! I PROMISE THE FREAKS, NICE PICS OF IT WITH AN AMAZING HOE AT HIS SIDE..
Yeah when I seen the 35 lbs on the Sideshow site I was like what the hell. I mean the Hulkster is 51 lbs. Even though I have this on order I told Sideshow to ship mine a week after the regular shipments go out. That way I can confirm from other members that this is a solid statue instead of a hollow one. If it is hollow then I'm canceling.
Weight is a very important factor for me. I know some don't care as long as it's a great sculpt but something that massive should equate the mass with weight and solidness. Otherwise every time I look at the piece I will downgrade it in my head versus the others since it's not as equally in weight.
And then goes the argument that I'm never go lift these guys up and down or what not. I don't really care, it has to be solid. It's just like 1/4 pieces weighing 8lbs, it's just not right.
You should just collect rocks then! Its cheaper!
To an extent I would agree...I dont want my statues feeling like they are made of paper mache...but at the same time I don't think physical prowess of the collector should be a limiting factor on who can own the collectible!
I think you all missed a very important weight related fact...if its TOO heavy lots of people won't even be able to move it! Or run the risk of getting hurt if they do! The hulk wieghs 51 lbs and my wife can barely move it on her own...how much would a solid abom weigh?? You start talking >60 lbs and lots of people wouldnt even be able to lift it out of the box!
I'm not even sure the hollow factor saves Sideshow all that much money. The cost of the polystone is minimal when compared to the artist/production costs!
That would be so awesome, I would love owner something few cannot move on their own
You are very right about the rock thing.
edit: 10lbs more than Hulk that's all I ask... Start training fellas for his PF.
Would be kinda funny news story actually...."woman and young child crushed by Marvel super villian!"
As for rocks...I got a REALLY heavy one Ill sell you for only $100 + $50 shipping!
averone I want to see AMAZING HOES @ SIDE!!!!
