I look at TDK as one hell of a good popcorn flick, like Gladiator, Predator, etc. Worth every penny and you can check your brain at the door and have a blast. It's not the Ben-Hur you guys make it out to be.

Not even close. Bastards stomps Hurt Locker into the ground. It is one the best movies of the last 10 years.

And i'd say the same on the question of TDK versus Slumdog - Slumdog is just good, nothing more nothing less. TDK is epic.

TDK, thats the one with Heath Ledger, right? I saw that last December and hated it. I only watched it because of everyone going on about how AMAZING it is.

I'm not really a Batman fan, but even if I were, I wouldn't have enjoyed it. I don't remember exactly what I disliked about it so much other than the fact that it was so long, boring.. Just really weird and stupid, imo.

This is why children shouldn't watch movies made for adults. Unfortunately not all films can be like music videos, unless they're directed by Michael Bay. Stick to watching Predaturd films while playing with your NECA toys kiddo.

I didn't think it was crappy because it was an "adult film"... There are several more matue movies I've enjoyed, this wasn't one of them.

Off the top of my head.. The Next Three Days, The Tourist, The Count of Monte Cristo, Master and Commander, Gladiator, the Bourne series, Ghost Writer, Stone, Derailed, The Men Who Stare at Goats, Braveheart, The Last of the Mohicans, The English Patient, Moonstruck, The Patriot, The Island, Incendiary (well, I don't really like the last two.. But I love Ewan McGregor ). I could find more...

Just because I'm 16 doesn't mean I only watch Star Wars, Predator, Alien, and all that..

Yeah, I'm young. Yeah, I prefer the more science fiction/actiony movies. But that doesn't mean I don't like any more mature movies, or can't understand them..or whatever.

Just to be clear, also, I never said TDK was a bad movie, just that I PERSONALLY didn't enjoy it at all.




.... Oh, and I hate the Transformer movies, and only have 4-5 NECA figures.
