Completely un touched hair bare in mind, zero product on or cut, once it gets worked it'll look awesome. I do think though this would have been a home run if they went with sculpted hair

this looks awesome. I used to have all the United Cutlery props and Sideshow statues but sold them during a divorce. Thinking of grabbing this one to get my Aragorn in my 1/6 collection. Where would you recommend to purchase the special edition from? I have a PO at BBTS but wasn't sure if there was a better spot since I mainly go there and at Sideshow

I'd really recommend it, the whole package is excellent. The boxes get overlooked a lot and this one is great quality.

It's great product I think, and your picture also good! But I suppose the wig hair is "correct" to use with! I can tolerate sculpted long hair , it looks very "un-natural" , and it prevent to change head posture! Like the THoR, always watching to the front, then nothing to do with the neck articulation!
Just do a few second setting for the hair with hair gel, then it looks perfect for me!

Wow the figure is looking great. I just hope I can figure out how to get the hair right. So aloe or so kind of wax is the best choice to use?

Still baffled that ACI couldn't get pictures of this kind for their product. Seems a bit weird.
He does look better but I do think the eye position is throwing the likeness off. And I still find it hard to fork over 300$ for it. Congratz to you that got it, who knows it might end up a grail in the future!

you delivered an awesome figure one of my favourite from LOTR
It is a character I am definitely willing to invest in! I think this is going to be the strong base and then I may supplement with some Asmus parts and pieces. I may even buy the Asmus version and do a full on mix and match and display two versions.

Yup. I agree. Plus you are only looking at two Aragorn's vs how many batmans or ironmans and it still comes out cheaper.
